An unconventional oil separator includes a vertical design. Generally, a refrigerant enters the vertical oil separator and spins downwards. The oil separator includes plates within the oil separator that either maintain the spin of the refrigerant or reverse the spin of the refrigerant, which causes oil in the refrigerant to separate from the refrigerant. A vertical outlet allows refrigerant that spins towards the bottom of the oil separator to travel back towards the top and out of the oil separator. Separated oil is collected at the bottom of the oil separator.

A pollution control system for removing particle and gas phase pollutants in a waste airstream exhausted from commercial cooking operations may include a plurality of filters arranged within a housing for filtering particle and gas phase pollutants in the waste airstream. Various ones of the filters may be composed of a variety of different materials, and ozone may be provided within the housing to assist with removal of the pollutants. In some examples, a wash mechanism may be included to wash surfaces of a filter to remove grease therefrom. In some examples, the system may further include means to spray droplets (such as in a fog or mist form) into the waste airstream to condense a portion of gas phase pollutants into condensed particles.

The assembly also includes a vacuum pump 150 powered by an electrical motor 160, a particle filter 200 to filter out particles upstream of the vacuum pump and a drum arrangement which includes a collector drum 170 configured to rotate about an axis to mix its contents to form a slurry and it discharge the contents when in the discharge position.

A method and system for the generation of a medium-Btu, clean and renewable fuel gas to replace fossil fuels in existing lime kilns with minimal retrofitting without significantly compromising the kiln capacity. A steam-blown dual fluidized bed gasifier produces renewable fuel gas from a carbonaceous feedstock such as woody biomass. A gas cleanup process purifies the raw fuel gas, resulting in a clean fuel gas for mitigation of lime contamination and environmental issues. The adiabatic flame temperature and flue gas volume/GJ for the combustion of the renewable fuel gas are similar to values for natural gas, making retrofitting of fossil fuel-fired lime kilns relatively straightforward.

The waste battery thermal desorption treatment system includes: a rotary kiln, having a feed port, thermal desorption cavity, heating cavity, discharge port, and first exhaust port; a dust removal apparatus, including a housing with a gas inlet port and a second exhaust port, and a dust removal structure disposed in the housing configured to collect impurities in a gas exhausted from the first exhaust port; a condenser, in communication with the second exhaust port, to condense an electrolyte constituent; and an adsorption column having a defluorination agent for dry defluorination on remaining constituents in the gaseous exhaust. This disclosure resolves the problem of low recycling efficiency of waste lithium batteries in the prior art.

A fluid filter has a filter housing with inlet opening for fluid to be cleaned and outlet opening for cleaned fluid. A filter element arranged in an element receptacle of the filter housing separates inlet opening from outlet opening. The filter housing has a housing body with an installation opening to the element receptacle, through which the filter element in an installation direction is introduced into the element receptacle. The filter housing has a housing cover for closing the installation opening. The installation opening is arranged in a transverse side of the housing body that is lateral relative to the housing axis. The filter housing has a sealing surface, surrounding the housing axis at least partially circumferentially, for contacting a seal of the filter element. The filter element has a seal support device for the seal and the filter housing has a pressing device for the seal support device.

PLASMA INDUCED HYDROGEN PRODUCTION

A process for the production of hydrogen from an aliphatic hydrocarbon feed, uses a plasma reactor that thermodynamically breaks down the hydrocarbon into its constituent hydrogen and carbon building blocks while using the heat of the reaction product to preheat the feed high enough temperature for plasma reactor. The plasma can be energized with electrical power derived from solar, wind or hydro sources. A heat interchanger transfers the thermal energy of the reaction products to preheat the hydrocarbon feed stream thereby significantly decreasing energy needs of the process. A dual PSA system provides high hydrogen recovery at high purity. The reaction products essentially consist of hydrogen and carbon black.
