A powder mixing system (12) includes a conduit (40) having a first end and an opposing second end, the conduit bounding a passage; a fluid pump (80) fluid coupled with the conduit, the fluid pump being configured to pump a liquid through the passage of the conduit; and a tubular transfer member (190) in fluid communication with the conduit, the transfer member being configured to couple with a powder bag housing a powder. The mixing system further including: (1) an eductor coupled to the transfer member and disposed in-line with the conduit so that the liquid pumped through the conduit also passes through the eductor; and/or (2) an auger assembly comprising an auger blade, at least a portion of the auger assembly being rotatably disposed within the transfer member.
DISPERSION DEVICE AND POWDER FEED MEMBER
A dispersion device includes a stirring and mixing unit that mixes a powder with a liquid, a powder feed unit that feeds the powder to the stirring and mixing unit, and a dry gas generation unit that supplies a dry gas to the powder feed unit. The powder feed unit is sealable.
Chemical release system
A feeding head assembly and a chemical release system for eliminating scale conditions and maintaining a neutral pH in potable water is disclosed. The feeding head assembly may include a composite membrane system comprising at least one semi-permeable layer and at least one filter layer. A chemical release system may include a cartridge or vessel. The cartridge may include a hollow body with two opposing open ends. A time-release pouch may be located within the hollow body and holds a composition that mixes with potable water to eliminate scale conditions and maintain a neutral pH in the potable water. A feeding head assembly may be coupled within the hollow body between the time-release pouch and one open end of the hollow body.
MIXER FOR DRAWING AND MIXING A SOLID PRODUCT WITH A LIQUID FROM A TANK OF A SPRAYER
The present disclosure relates to a mixer for drawing and mixing a solid product, such as a powder, with a liquid from a tank. The mixer includes a drawing wand which has a drawing tip suitable for drawing the product and a mixing vat which has a rotation shape delimited by a side wall. The discharge tip of the drawing wand leads into the top of a vat and injects the product into the vat. In one form, the mixer includes a hydraulic circuit designed to circulate the liquid between the tank and the vat. The circuit includes at least one injection duct having at least one injection nozzle that leads into the top of the vat so that the liquid from the tank flows over the side wall of the vat.
FRACTURING SLURRY ON DEMAND USING PRODUCED WATER
Systems and methods presented herein generally relate to a method that includes receiving water at a centralized facility. The method also includes receiving sand from one or more sand mines at the centralized facility. The method further includes receiving one or more chemicals at the centralized facility. In addition, the method includes using processing equipment of the centralized facility to process the water, the sand, and the one or more chemicals to produce a fracturing slurry. The method also includes conveying the fracturing slurry from the centralized facility to one or more fracturing sites.
DISPERSING DEVICE AND A METHOD FOR DISPERSING
A dispersing device is provided by which a dispersion with a high yield and a proper dispersing process can be carried out. The dispersing device causes a mixture of a slurry or a liquid to flow by centrifugal force toward an outer circumference between a rotor and a stator. It comprises a container, a cover assembly that closes an upper opening of the container, a stator that is fixed under the cover assembly, a rotor that is disposed to face a lower surface of the stator, and an assembly for supplying the mixture that stores an unprocessed mixture to be supplied to a gap between the rotor and the stator. The assembly for supplying the mixture has a body, a first member for injecting the mixture, and a second member for injecting the mixture.
Venturi mixer with adjustable flow restrictor
An apparatus for mixing a liquid and a substance, including a housing with a liquid inlet and a substance inlet to a mixing chamber, an outlet for a mixture of liquid and substance, and a flow restrictor arranged in the housing, between the liquid inlet and the mixing chamber. The flow restrictor is controllable to switch between a first position providing a first through flow area configured to create a Venturi effect such that a flow of the liquid draws the substance into the mixing chamber, and a second position providing a second through flow area that is larger than the first through flow area to thereby decrease a pressure drop caused by the flow restrictor.
Device For Dispersing Water-Soluble Polymers
A device for dispersing a water-soluble polymer in powder form having a standard particle size of less than 1 mm, includes: a wetting chamber, a chamber for grinding and discharging the dispersed polymer with a horizontal axis of revolution, and a mechanism for connecting the wetting chamber to the grinding chamber in the form of an L-shaped tube. The upper and lower parts of the wetting chamber and the L-shaped tube have an internal surface with an identical surface tension (TS1). The cover of the wetting chamber has an internal surface with a surface tension (TS2) higher than the surface tension (TS1) of the internal surface of the upper and lower parts of the wetting chamber and the L-shaped tube.
APPARATUS FOR MAKING BATTERY SLURRY
An apparatus for making a battery slurry is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a vacuum system providing a vacuum environment, a dry powder mixing device mixing a plurality of powdery materials uniformly to obtain a dry powder, a kneading device kneading the dry powder with the first part solvent to form a doughy mixture, and a high speed dispersing device dispersing the doughy mixture to the second part solvent to form the battery slurry. The vacuum system, the dry powder mixing device, the kneading device, and the high speed dispersing device are connected to each other.
Method of Mixing Rubber Composition and System for Mixing Rubber Composition
A method of mixing a rubber composition includes a carbon introduction step and a uniform dispersion step. In the carbon introduction step, on the basis of a deviation between a rate of temperature increase of the rubber mixture (R) and a target value, at least one of a ram pressure (Pr) and a rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is PID controlled so that the ultimate temperature of the rubber mixture (R) at the conclusion of the step is within a tolerance range. In the uniform dispersion step, the ram pressure (Pr) or the rotational speed (N) of the mixing rotor (2) is adjusted to reduce a deviation between a value based on successively detected data associated with a predetermined control target and a target value.
