Providing electric power distribution for fracturing operations comprising receiving, at a transport, electric power from a mobile source of electricity at a first voltage level and supplying, from the transport, the electric power to a fracturing pump transport at the first voltage level using only a first, single cable connection. The first voltage level falls within a range of 1,000 V to 35 kilovolts. The transport also supplies electric power to a second transport at the first voltage level using only a second, single cable connection.

A method for preparing an insulating product based on wool includes an aeration step inside a device, the device including a chamber and at least one structure capable of generating a turbulent gaseous flow, during the aeration step. A stream of carrier gas is introduced into the chamber and a wool in the form of nodules or flakes is subjected to the turbulent flow of this carrier gas with entrainment in one sense in a direction A and in the opposite sense in a direction B that is the opposite to the direction A so that within the chamber there is at least in one plane perpendicular to the direction A in which the wool entrained in the direction A crosses the wool entrained in the direction B.

The disclosure herein relates to a microfluidic emulsification device capable of being injection molded. The device may be used for digital droplet polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR). The emulsification device comprises: (a) a cylindrical outer part (4) with two open ends; (b) a cylindrical inner part (1) with a solid bottom and having a circumference sufficient to allow the inner part to be nested within the outer part of the emulsification device, wherein the inner part and the outer part are capable of sliding freely; (c) at least one groove on an interior surface of the outer part or on an exterior surface of the inner part, the groove having a height greater than a gap between the outer part and the inner part when nested; (d) at least one hole (3) in the inner part adjacent to the solid bottom; (e) a radial distribution channel (2) on the interior surface of the outer part or on the exterior surface of the inner part; and (f) a radial nozzle channel at the base of the interior surface of the outer part or at the base of the exterior surface of the inner part.

The description relates to methods and apparatus that enable the efficient introduction of gases like air, oxygen and ozone into aqueous liquids. Gases are introduced into liquids for making that gas chemically or biologically available at a minimum energy expenditure. Impinging jets of liquid are directed into a pressurized saturation vessel having a gas-filled headspace and a saturation zone below the surface of the liquid at a velocity sufficient to create a turbulent impact and plunge zone. The resulting turbulence and mixing of gas and liquid in that zone under pressure, causes the gas to be driven into the liquid in the vessel and breaks up the gas and the liquid into a churning flow and creates a large number of bubbles. The resulting gas-enriched liquid is discharged from the vessel at an outlet to ensure a minimum of bubbles in the gas-enriched liquid.

A sewage system component spray assembly is attached at a predetermined height above pumps in the interior of the component and has at least one nozzle for spraying liquid downwardly and generally tangential to a center of the sewage system component. Operation of the nozzle causes the liquid to disperse floating material on the sewage surface and creating a rotational flow around the center to direct such material to the pumps.

A method for manufacturing beverage or other liquid containing bubbles uses a system for manufacturing bubble-containing liquid that includes: a bubble generating unit that generates fine bubbles in a liquid; a bubble collapsing unit that is connected to the bubble generating unit to collapse the fine bubbles contained in the bubble-containing liquid supplied from the bubble generating unit by making the bubble-containing liquid pass through the bubble collapsing unit and irradiating the bubble-containing liquid with ultrasonic wave; and a storage unit that is connected to the bubble collapsing unit to store the bubble-containing liquid supplied from the bubble collapsing unit. The method includes: a bubble generating step of generating the fine bubbles in the liquid by the bubble generating unit; a bubble collapsing step of generating superfine bubbles by forming an ultrasonic field by the bubble collapsing unit to collapse the fine bubbles contained in the liquid; and a storage step of storing the bubble-containing liquid containing the superfine bubbles by the storage unit. Consequently, beverage or other liquid containing the superfine bubbles can be manufactured.
