METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SPRAY-DRIED POWDERS
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing spray-dried powders. During the process, a solvent is used. The process is done batchwise such that the emulsification mass ratio is low when removal of the solvent is started. Preferred solvents are isopropyl acetate and ethyl acetate. The invention also relates to a set-up to run the inventive process at industrial scale.
METHODS FOR PROCESSING FIBROUS CELLULOSIC MATERIAL, PRODUCTS AND USES THEREOF
A method for processing fibrous cellulosic material from algae comprising: (i) suspending the fibrous cellulosic material in water to form a suspension; and (ii) passing the suspension through at least one chamber having a large gap, at a high shear to produce cellulose nanofibrils. Also described are cellulose nanofibrils and cellulose nanocrystals, products, methods and uses of the same.
Nano-micro bubble generator
Provided is a nano-micro bubble generator according to one aspect of the present invention, the nano-micro bubble generator including: a housing which a fluid flows into and out of; a plurality of rotors rotatably coupled to the inside of the housing; and a plurality of stators fixed to the inside of the housing and alternately arranged with the plurality of rotors, wherein at least one of the rotors and the stators has a mesh-like structure in which a plurality of flow passages of the fluid are arranged in a lattice form, and the rotors and the stators are arranged to be adjacent to each other so as to generate a collision, friction, and cavitation due to rotation of the rotors in the fluid flowing through the flow passages, thereby generating at least one of nano bubbles and micro bubbles in the fluid.
EMULSIFICATION SYSTEM
An emulsion system is provided. The system includes a shaft that supports a plurality of cutting assemblies and plates in alternating order, wherein the cutting assembly rotates with respect to an in close proximity to the plate. The plurality of cutting plates each on their circumferential edge have an identification system to memorialize the diameter of the emulsion holes.
Fluid refining systems and methods
Fluid refining systems and methods are disclosed. A fluid refining apparatus may include an upper motor connected to an upper housing, and a lower motor connected to a lower housing. A central housing may be connected between the upper and lower housing. An upper shaft may be connected to the upper motor and rotatably disposed within the upper housing. A lower shaft may be connected to the lower motor and rotatably disposed within the lower housing. A group of nested upper cylinders may be connected to the upper shaft. A group of nested lower cylinders may be connected to the lower shaft. The group of nested upper cylinders may be positioned adjacent the group of nested lower cylinders in an interlacing, fingerlike relationship, and disposed for counter rotation relative to one other. Each of the cylinders may include flow apertures adapted for cooperative relationship to establish fluid flow paths.
