A drive sub-assembly includes a hub extending from a first end face to a second end face along a longitudinal axis. The hub may have an outer circumferential surface arranged to engage a first bearing assembly and an inner circumferential surface arranged to engage an output shaft. The drive sub-assembly further includes a gear attached to the second end face of the hub. The gear may have a second inner circumferential surface that is arranged to directly engage a second bearing assembly.

Mixing apparatus and system

Provided is a mixing apparatus. The mixing apparatus comprises a housing defining a primary chamber, an inlet for receiving material into the mixing apparatus, as well as an outlet for discharging material from the mixing apparatus. The housing provides within the primary chamber a plurality of rotating shafts, each rotating shaft having a plurality of flailing fixtures associated therewith.

Portable centrifuge and method of use

A centrifuge having a housing containing a rotational mechanism and a centrifugal container having a longitudinal axis. The rotational mechanism has a circuit including an electrical motor, a switch, and an internal electrical power source. The centrifugal container is operably connected to the rotational mechanism through the housing, and is rotatable about the longitudinal axis. The centrifuge is portable and is for single use.

MIXING DEVICE FOR CELL PRINTING COMPOSITION

The mixing device of cell printing composition according to the present disclosure comprises a first syringe comprising a first container for containing first liquid, a first moving element discharging the first liquid contained in the first container; a second syringe comprising a second container for containing second liquid, a second moving element discharging the second liquid contained in the second container; a mixing container which comprises a rotating mixing unit and receives the discharged first liquid and the discharged second liquids; a power transmission unit for driving the first moving element, the second moving element and the mixing unit; a first threaded guide where the first moving element is movably connected; a second threaded guide where the second moving element is movably connected; and a rod for rotating the mixing unit.

Non intrusive agitation system

A device for non intrusive agitation of a fluid is provided, including a container adapted to contain the fluid, at least one of the walls thereof includes a membrane and a main movable stirring means inside the container adapted to stir at least the fluid. The first flexible element is adapted to interfere mechanically with an external movable impulsion means, thus creating a deformation which has a mechanical interference with the main movable stirring means. This movement of such impulsion means is transmitted to the main movable stirring means by the interposition of the first flexible element.

Magnetically coupled mixer with thrust bearing friction control
10357748 · 2019-07-23 · ·

Magnetically coupled mixer having an impeller magnetically coupled to a drive shaft and thrust bearings that support the impeller. The drive shaft can be moved along its axis, and an upwardly directed axial force is applied to the drive shaft to partially offset downward forces exerted by the impeller and thereby reduce friction between the thrust bearing surfaces while maintaining contact between them. In one disclosed embodiment, the force is applied to the drive shaft by a pair of magnets arranged so that the magnetic fields interact to produce the force, and the magnitude of the force is controlled by adjusting the distance between the magnets. The forces exerted by the impeller can be monitored and utilized in controlling the magnitude of the force applied to the shaft.

MAGNETIC DRIVE EXTENSION FOR USE WITH VIRUS INACTIVATION SKID

A magnetic drive extension may be adapted to be positioned between a magnetic drive that generates a rotating magnetic field and a component, such as an agitator, driven by the magnetic drive, to increase the strength of the magnetic coupling between the drive and component. For example, a mechanical magnetic drive extension may house a rotating shaft around which a rotating magnet mount is configured to rotate, with two oppositely polarized magnets attached to opposite sides of the mount, such that the rotational force causes the rotating magnet mount to rotate, which in turn generates a second rotating magnetic field that causes a second rotational magnetic force to be applied to the component. As another example, a magnetically permeable magnetic drive extension may be comprised of an insulating material in which magnetic conductor components are embedded with even spacing around the interior perimeter of the magnetically permeable magnetic drive extension.
