A unitary removable structure slidably positionable within the housing between the first photocatalytic cell and the second photocatalytic cell.
REACTION DEVICE AND REACTION METHOD USING FINE BUBBLES
A reaction device for reacting a liquid-phase reactant and a gas-phase reactant converted into fine bubbles includes: a porous body that includes a plurality of flow paths and in which the flow paths are separated by porous walls, the porous walls include continuous pores, and the porous body includes a reaction catalyst at least on the surface thereof; a solution supply section for supplying a solution containing a gas-phase reactant and a liquid-phase reactant to the continuous pores in the porous body; and a solution discharge section for discharging solution containing a reaction product obtained when the solution flows through the continuous pores of the porous body.
Honeycomb structure
A honeycomb structure includes plugged honeycomb segments, circumferential bonding layers, central bonding layers and a circumferential wall. An angle θ between a first direction of extension of at least one of the circumferential bonding layers and a second direction of extension of a line segment that connects a centroid of the honeycomb structure and an intersection point at which the circumferential bonding layer in the first direction intersects with the circumferential wall is 25 to 45°, and the outermost segment bonded by the circumferential bonding layer in the first direction exists on a parallel line to a direction of extension of the central bonding layer passing through the centroid.
CATALYTIC REACTOR
A catalytic reactor according to an embodiment includes a catalytic unit including at least one catalyst having a honeycomb structure in which a plurality of passages extending in an axial direction are formed, a reactor housing accommodating the catalytic unit, and a seal plate sealing between an outer periphery of the catalytic unit and an inner periphery of the reactor housing. The seal plate seals between the outer periphery of the catalytic unit and the inner periphery of the reactor housing at an upstream end portion of the catalytic unit with respect to a flow of a fluid flowing in the reactor housing.
Structured packing element formed by a flat plate provided with slots and recesses
A structured packing element has the shape of a rectangular flat plate, and is provided with slots and recesses. The slots are intended for assembly by interlocking the structured packing elements together in order to form the structured packing. The recesses are provided in order to form channels within the structured packing. A packing structure can be obtained by assembling such packing elements. Such a packing can be used for an operation of bringing a gas and a catalyst into contact. A manufacturing process of such a structured packing is also disclosed.

Structured packing for catalytic distillation
A catalytic distillation structure that may include a rigid framework having at least two grids with a plurality of horizontal fluid permeable tubes mounted to said grids to form a plurality of fluid pathways among the plurality of horizontal fluid permeable tubes. Additionally, each horizontal fluid permeable tubes may have a profile of a six-sided polygon. Further, the catalytic distillation structure may include a plurality of vertically plates or wires connecting vertically aligned tubes of the plurality of horizontal fluid permeable tubes. Furthermore, the plurality of vertically plates or wires connects from a corner of one vertically aligned tubes to a corner of an adjacent vertically aligned tube.
Structured packing module for mass transfer columns
A corrugated structured packing sheet has surface texturing that may be in the form of a grid of indented and raised structures. Each indented structure is separated from some or all of adjacent ones of the indented structures by the raised structures. The raised structures form rows of peaks and interconnecting saddles. Microchannels extend along adjacent ones of the indented structures and the interconnecting saddles and intersect the corrugation valleys at an angle in the range of 20 to 75 degrees. The surface texturing may be or include wavy parallel grooves in an upper edge region adjacent the upper edge and a lower edge region adjacent the lower edge and may be or include parallel groove segments in the bulk region that are oriented obliquely to upper and lower edges of the structured packing sheet.
