A foliage shredder that can shred inputted foliage matter into uniform sized particles without pulverizing the inputted foliage matter includes a housing, a shredding axle, a motor, a stand, a digital timer, a power cord, and a lid. The shredding axle is concentrically positioned within a cylindrical compartment of the housing and rotatably coupled to a rotor of the motor. A stator of the motor is externally connected to the housing and electrically connected to the power cord through the digital timer. The lid is terminally attached to the housing thus closing the cylindrical compartment. The cylindrical compartment functions as a container unit for the inputted foliage as the electrically powered shredding axle shreds the inputted foliage into uniform sized particles.

The present invention discloses a shredding mechanism, a shredding device and a control system and method thereof. The present invention discloses a shredding device. The shredding device according to one or more embodiments of the present invention comprises: a shredding body for shredding materials; a frame for supporting the shredding body; and a power supply device that provides electric power to the shredding body. The shredding body comprises a housing, and the housing is provided with a power supply chamber for accommodating at least part of the power supply device. The shredding device according to the present invention features a compact structure, and is easy and safe to operate.

Systems and methods for a dual-blade agricultural grinder are disclosed. A dual blade grinder comprises a casing, a hopper, a cutting mechanism, a chute, and a display. The grinder is configured to cut a plant to a desired particle size. The casing is configured to provide rigid structural support for components of the grinder and provide a safety barrier between the user and the cutting mechanism. The hopper is configured to store and distribute a plant to the cutting mechanism. The cutting mechanism comprises a static blade with one or more serrated edges and one or more plain edges, a floating curved blade, and a particle screen. The display is configured to accept input from a user operating the grinder, and to control operational settings of the grinder. The grinder and its components may be comprised of a food-grade quality steel configured to resist bacterial growth.

An orchard sanitation implement disposes of unharvested nuts which may otherwise be utilized as habitat and food for navel orangeworms. Unharvested nuts are lifted from the orchard floor and delivered to a storage bin of the implement. Once received within the storage bin, the unharvested nuts are separated from other orchard debris by a looping belt which allows unharvested nuts to fall through, but other orchard debris is conveyed outside of the storage bin for deposit either into a container or back to the orchard floor. The unharvested nuts fall through openings in the looping belt, through an outlet at the bottom of the storage bin and into a shredding unit attached to the outlet. The shredding unit shreds and pulverizes the unharvested nuts into a composition which is too small to be utilized by navel orangeworms for habitat or a source of food.
