Replaceable work part for a demolition tool
A replaceable work part which has a base and a tooth portion provided on an upper side of the base. A plurality of mounting legs extend downward from the base. Each mounting leg defines a recess and is configured to engage a corresponding mounting structure formed on a jaw of the jaw assembly. The replaceable work part is mounted to the jaw by being inserted into the same from above and sliding the same onto the jaw in a sliding direction to engage the mounting legs with the mounting structures of the jaw. In this state, locking members are inserted between the replaceable work part and the jaw and secured to the replaceable work part to restrict movement of the replaceable work part in the direction opposite to the mounting direction.
STRIKING TOOL FOR USE IN A HIGH SPEED COMMINUTION MILL
This disclosure relates to a striking tool for use in a high velocity, high impact energy comminution mill. The tool comprises an elongate body attachable at a first end to the comminution mill, and further comprises a wear resistant element for improving the wear resistance of the striking tool. The wear resistant element comprises a plurality of individual units.
Grinding roll and a grinding assembly comprising the grinding roll
A grinding roll including a roll body having a cylindrical outer surface extending axially between a first end and a second end and a flange attached to at least one of the first and second ends. The flange includes an outer edge that extends radially past the cylindrical outer surface of the roll body. A first surface of the flange forms a perpendicular continuing surface with the cylindrical outer surface of the roll body. A second surface of the flange forms a continuation of one of the first and second ends of the roll body. The flange includes wear protection liner elements on the first surface. The first surface of the flange includes at least one lower part adjacent the cylindrical outer surface of the roll body and at least one upper part adjacent the outer edge of the flange. The lower part includes a first type of wear protection liner elements and the upper part includes a second type of wear protection liner elements. The average covering area of the second type of wear protection liner elements is larger than that of the first type of wear protection liner elements.
Ceramic grains and method for their production
The disclosure relates to sintered ceramic grains comprising 3-55 wt. % alumina, 40-95 wt. % zirconia and 1-30 wt. % of one or more other inorganic components. The invention further relates to a method for preparing ceramic grains according to the invention, comprising: making a slurry comprising alumina, zirconia; making droplets of the slurry; introducing the droplets in a liquid gelling-reaction medium wherein the droplets are gellified; drying the gellified deformed droplets.
Wear-resistant rubber compositions, systems, and methods
This disclosure relates to wear-resistant rubber compositions, such as those, for example, comprising at least one hydroxy-terminated polybutadiene, at least one natural rubber, at least one polymerization accelerant; at least one sulfur; and at least one polybutadiene, wherein the wear-resistant rubber composition may have an effective cross-linking density of at least about 30×10.sup.−5 moles/cm.sup.3.
COMPOSITE WEAR PART
The present disclosure relates to a hierarchical wear part including a reinforced portion comprising zirconia or an alumina-zirconia alloy. The reinforced portion also includes centimetric inserts with a predefined geometry. The inserts include micrometric particles of metal carbides, nitrides, borides, or intermetallic compounds bonded by a first metal matrix. The inserts are inserted into a reinforcement structure infiltrated by a second metal matrix, the reinforcement structure having a periodic alternation of millimetric areas of high and low concentration of micrometric particles of zirconia or alumina-zirconia alloy. The second metal matrix is different from the first metal matrix.
KEY GRINDING PAN SEGMENT, GRINDING PAN SEGMENT SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR SAME
The invention relates to a replaceable key grinding pan segment for a grinding track of a grinding pan of a roller mill, the grinding track having an annular shape with an outer circumference and an inner circumference around a center point. The length of the inner edge of the key grinding pan segment closer to the center point is greater here than the length of the outer edge further from the center point. The invention also relates to a grinding pan segment system, a roller mill, and a method for replacing grinding pan segments.
Interlocking Wear-Resistant Panel System
A wear panel for mining and materials handling applications is provided. The wear panel includes a housing matrix (1) with a top surface (2), a bottom surface (3) opposite the top surface (2) and at least one cavity (4) with cavity walls (5). The cavity (4) extends through the top surface (2) and the bottom surface (3). The wear panel also includes at least one wear-resistant member (6) with a preformed shape. The at least one wear-resistant member (6) has a top surface (7) and a bottom surface (8) opposite the top surface (7). The wear-resistant members (6) are disposed in the cavity (4) and are locked into place by their preformed shape and the cavity walls (5).
ROLLER CRUSHER AND METHOD FOR OPERATION THEREOF
A scraper device for a roller crusher, which scraper device includes a rotatable multi head scraper unit having at least two scrapers arranged tangentially about the rotatable multi head scraper unit at a respective radial distance from a rotational axis of the rotatable multi head scraper unit. The scraper device further includes a rotation actuator arranged to selectively rotate the rotatable multi head scraper unit to allow operative use of one of the at least two scrapers at a time. The scraper device further includes at least one brake arrangement configured to prevent and/or restrict rotation of the rotatable multi head scraper unit during operation of the one of the at least two scrapers. A roller crusher including the scraper device and a method for operating the roller crusher is also provided.
Composite metal component and method of producing same
A method of producing a composite metal article and/or a composite metal wear component. The method including the following steps: casting a component composed of a host metal composition wherein one or more cavities are formed in the component during casting; inserting a wear resistant composition in solid form into the one or more cavities formed in the component composed of the host metal composition; and, bonding the wear resistant composition into the one or more cavities of the component composed of the host metal composition to form the composite metal article.
