SPRAYERS HAVING INCREASED FINE DROPLET TRANSFER EFFICIENCY
20220401970 · 2022-12-22 ·

A fine particle sprayer including a nozzle for dispersing a liquid disinfectant into a spray plume of droplets and a means for directing pressurized air below the spray plume to increase droplet transfer efficiency, and above and around the spray plume to prevent errant droplets from drifting toward an operator. A sprayer system includes a sprayer, a housing, and a blower that may be removably attached to the sprayer for generating an air stream below the droplets to improve droplet transfer efficiency.

DROSS ABATEMENT SYSTEM AND METHODS THEREOF

A dross abatement system for a printer is disclosed. The dross abatement system includes a print head ejector, a pump in communication with the print head ejector having an inner cavity, a first inlet coupled to the inner cavity, a supply of printing material external to the print head ejector, a heating element configured to heat the printing material in the ejector, and a supply of absorbent material external to the print head ejector. A method of abating dross in a metal jetting printer is also disclosed, which includes pausing an operation of the printer, advancing an absorbent material into a melt pool within a nozzle pump reservoir, wherein the melt pool may include a metal printing material, absorbing dross from the metal printing material, removing the absorbent material including the dross, and resuming operation of the metal jetting printer.

SUBSTRATE CLEANING APPARATUS AND SUBSTRATE CLEANING METHOD
20220399210 · 2022-12-15 ·

A particle removed from a substrate is suppressed from adhering to the substrate again. A substrate cleaning apparatus includes a substrate holder configured to hold the substrate; a gas nozzle configured to jet a cleaning gas to the substrate on the substrate holder; and a nozzle cover provided to surround the gas nozzle. The cleaning gas is jetted to a decompression chamber of the nozzle cover from the gas nozzle, and a gas cluster configured to remove the particle on the substrate in the decompression chamber is generated. A gas for a gas curtain is jetted from an end portion of the nozzle cover toward the substrate, and the gas curtain is formed between the substrate and the end portion of the nozzle cover.

ROTARY COATING PRODUCT SPRAYER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A SURFACE TEMPERATURE OF SUCH A SPRAYER
20220395847 · 2022-12-15 ·

A rotary coating sprayer including a spray bowl rotating about an axis of rotation and an air turbine for driving the bowl. The turbine includes a rotor and a body forming a support for the rotor and defining at least one air feedline for a rotation chamber wherein the rotor blades are arranged. The feedline includes an intermediate chamber defined, radially to the rotation axis, between the body and a ring mounted around the body. In this way, lowering of temperature of an element of the sprayer housing due to flow of exhaust air from the turbine, is limited.
