Air purging apparatus for a coater
An air purging coater apparatus is disclosed for purging mixed components from the apparatus disposed in a pipeline at a pipeline site. The apparatus includes a remote-controlled apparatus for insertion within the pipeline at the pipeline site. The remote-controlled apparatus includes a drive for controllably moving the remote-controlled apparatus internally within the pipeline. A high-pressure mixing device defines a first and second inlet controllably connected to a pressurized and further pressurized source respectively of a first and second component. The high-pressure mixing device defines a high-pressure mixing chamber connected to the first and the second inlets for mixing together the first and second components. The high-pressure mixing device defines an outlet connected to the high-pressure mixing chamber for receiving a flow therethrough of the mixed components. A spin head defines an internal conical surface and a baffle so that the mixed components are applied to an inside surface of the pipeline. The high-pressure mixing device is controllably movable from an application disposition thereof to a purging disposition. In the purging disposition, the flow of the mixed components is terminated and a source of pressurized air flows into and through the first and second inlets and the high-pressure mixing chamber and the outlet for purging any residual mixed components from the high-pressure mixing device thereby avoiding any need for the use of a potentially hazardous solvent.
SPRAY UNIT
The invention relates to a spray unit (10) with an axle (20), an atomising disc (30), a spray direction modifying assembly (40), and a liquid applicator (50). The atomising disc is configured to spin about the axle centred on the centre of the disc. The liquid applicator is configured to apply liquid to a surface of the atomising disc. The spray direction modifying assembly is in proximity to the atomising disc. The spray direction modifying assembly comprises at least one air channel (41). The at least one air channel is configured to provide air in proximity to the atomising disc to modify the subsequent trajectory of the liquid droplets that leave the outer edge of the atomising disc.
SPRAY UNIT
The invention relates to a spray unit comprising an axle (20), a disc (30), a disc shape modifying assembly (40) and a liquid applicator (50). The disc is configured to spin about the axle centred on the centre of the disc. The liquid applicator is configured to apply liquid to a surface of the disc. The disc shape modifying assembly is configured to modify the trajectory of the liquid droplets that leave the spray unit by way of varying the diameter of the disc.
Oscillating sprinkler
An oscillating sprinkler includes a turbine operatively connected to a movable gear cage that is biased into either a first position or a second position using three torsion springs to drive rotation of a nozzle housing.
Portable sprinkler device
A portable sprinkler device is disclosed herein. The portable sprinkler device is configured to deliver a personalized combination of water, weed killer, lawn fertilizer, and insect control serum. The device may include a wireless control unit capable of communicating with a user interface. The wireless control unit may be configured as a Bluetooth-ready device. The user interface may further include a base station or other portable electronic device. The device is useful for delivering a combined liquid-based lawn treatment solution in a user-friendly manner.
SPRAY UNIT
The invention relates to a spray unit comprising an axle (10), a disc (20), a liquid applicator (40) and a spray direction assembly (50). The disc is configured to spin about the axle centred on the centre of the disc. The liquid applicator is configured to apply liquid to a surface of the disc. The spray direction assembly partially surrounds the disc. The inner surface of the spray direction assembly is configured to modify the trajectory of all liquid that leaves the outer edge of the disc.
ROTARY ATOMIZER TURBINE
A rotary atomizer turbine is provided, the turbine including a turbine wheel with multiple turbine blades, a blade duct containing the turbine blades and being delimited radially by a duct wall, a braking air nozzle, a driving air nozzle and an outlet region at the outlet of the driving air nozzle. The outlet region is delimited at the outside by the duct wall of the blade duct and at the inside by the turbine blade respectively passing through it. The blade duct is delimited radially at the inside opposite the braking air nozzle by a stationary flow barrier. Furthermore, the outlet region of the individual driving air nozzles is a divergent cross-sectional region which widens in the flow direction and rotates with that turbine blade passing the driving air nozzle.
TUNNEL FAN AND METHOD
A fan assembly, and associated methods are shown. Fan assemblies and methods shown include nozzles within a housing of the fan. Fan assemblies and methods shown may provide water and/or fire suppression chemicals within a fan housing that provide characteristics such as increased thrust and motor cooling effects.
Water Dispersing System
A water dispersing system (WDS) that allows a selectable quantity of water to be dispersed into an environment. The WDS utilizes a fan and a water supply assembly. The fan has a frame inside of which are two rotating blades, and preferably a stand. The water supply assembly includes a reservoir, a water tube, and a water dispersing head. Water is gravity fed from the reservoir, through the water tube and out of the head. Water from the head is directed into the first fan's rotating blades. Once the water hits the blades, the water is re-directed back out through a front grill on the fan. The second fan blades project air outward. The amount of water that comes from the WDS can be selectably chosen, from a light mist to a heavier spray, and the temperature of the water can be lowered by placing ice into the reservoir with the water. An excess water basin catches any water that drips downward from the blades.
Device for diffusing a compound
The present invention provides a device for diffusing a compound comprising: a chamber arranged to store a compound, wherein the chamber includes an agitator member arranged to disturb the compound within the chamber to diffuse the compound into air within the chamber.
