SLIDING DEVICE
A sliding device configured to perform a sliding process on a surface of an object to be slid includes a sliding part including sliding bodies each having a flat working surface; a first driving mechanism configured to regularly move the sliding bodies in parallel with the working surfaces of the sliding bodies; and a second driving mechanism configured to regularly move the sliding part in parallel with the working surfaces in a direction different from a moving direction by the first driving mechanism while the first driving mechanism moves the sliding bodies. This enables uniform supply of the sliding process material onto the surface of the object to be slid or clean the surface of the object to be slid.
LIQUID METAL APPLYING METHOD
Disclosed herein is a method for applying a liquid metal on a surface of an object that is selected from the group consisting of a heat-emitting surface and a heat-conducting surface. The method includes applying the liquid metal onto the surface, and applying a force to the liquid metal using a tool to destroy cohesion of the liquid metal, followed by moving the tool back and forth to apply the liquid metal on the surface.
WIRE-LESS VARIABLE GAP COATER DEVICE
Systems and methods for coating of a thin film with a viscous material, such as a liquid, a paste, or an adhesive, at a desired thickness. In such a system, two films move adjacent to one another, optionally in opposite directions, atop two rollers separated by a known gap that defines a coating thickness, with the material being transferred from one film to the other. The rollers may be maintained in their relative positions by springs and/or linear actuators and positioned using linear encoders. In alternate arrangements, the material to be coated could be low viscosity material such as a polymeric solution. Air knives may be provided near the gap to create an air flow that aids in preventing the free flow of low viscosity materials outside the bounds of the film during coating.
ANALYTIC SUBSTRATE COATING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and method for producing a coated analytic substrate using a compact and portable automated instrument located in the laboratory setting at the point of use which can consistently produce one or a plurality of coated analytic substrates “on demand” for using the analytic substrate immediately after coating, preferably without a step of rinsing the coated analytic substrate before use. The apparatus preferably uses applicator cartridges having a reservoir containing the coating compositions used to form the coatings. Preferably the cartridges are removable and interchangeable to facilitate the production of individual analytic substrates having different coatings or different coating patterns. These coated analytic substrates have superior specimen adhesion characteristics due to the improved quality of the coatings applied by the coating apparatus and due to the quickness with which the coated analytic substrates can be used in the lab after production.

Device for impregnating particles into a non-woven fabric
The particle impregnating device includes a placing body for placing a nonwoven fabric having a surface on which particles are sprayed; a vibrating member which is provided above the placing body and extends in the width direction of the nonwoven fabric placed on the placing body; a vibrator which applies ultrasonic vibration to the vibrating member; a lifting mechanism which lifts up and down the vibrating member; and a moving mechanism which relatively moves the nonwoven fabric and the vibrating member in a surface direction orthogonal to the width direction of the nonwoven fabric. When the nonwoven fabric and the vibrating member are relatively moved by the moving mechanism, the vibrating member is lowered by the lifting mechanism, so that the nonwoven fabric is pressed and compressed by the vibrating member and ultrasonic vibration is applied to the vibrating member by the vibrator.
ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIAL COATING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR COATING ELECTRODE ACTIVE MATERIALS
An electrode active material coating device according includes a transfer unit for continuously transferring a substrate in a first direction; a coating die for forming a coated portion by ejecting an electrode active material slurry on the substrate; and a guide unit including a guide portion that moves along the first direction between the coating die and the substrate.
Curtain die for applying a liquid release agent to a shingle substrate
An asphalt shingle manufacturing machine that includes a curtain die for applying a liquid release layer on an asphalt coated substrate. The moisture of the liquid release layer evaporates leaving a dispersed solid particulate release layer. The curtain die includes a first body section and a second body section with a shim disposed between the body sections to define a distribution channel. The second body section may include chamber manifold defined therein to store a volume of liquid release agent. The distribution channel places the chamber manifold in fluid communication with a discharge outlet of the curtain die in order to disperse a volume of liquid release agent from a chamber manifold out of the discharge outlet. The shim may be configured to define a width of the distribution channel to determine the flow rate and discharge pattern of the liquid release agent.
COATING MODULE WITH FLEXIBLE FILM
A coating module to coat a substrate with a coating composition includes a coating device to apply a layer of coating composition on the outer surface of the substrate, and a flexible film including a distal portion designed to be in contact with the coated substrate.
Surface Finish Applicator
The present invention relates generally to the field of wall and surface repair tools. The device has an angled member or plate with a housing mounted on the angled member. The housing has one push tab or plunger, an interior space, and a grip area. The interior space, angled member, and a continuous opening are in fluid communication and allow for the finishing material, such as spackle, to flow through the device and onto the damaged wall or surface.
