Method for applying high viscosity material on edge surfaces
A high viscosity material is discharged in the form of a continuous thread from an application nozzle toward an end of a workpiece and a space S on the side of the workpiece so that the high viscosity material in the form of the thread adheres to a front surface of the workpiece and the high viscosity material discharged in the form of the thread into the space on the side of the workpiece pivots around an edge of the workpiece to a back surface of the workpiece and adheres to the back surface of the workpiece. The high viscosity material can thus be applied to both the front and back surfaces of the workpiece in one step of discharging the high viscosity material only from the front surface side of the workpiece.
Dual pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for instore signage
A tandem system of metering and donor rolls is used to apply two different adhesives to a fully adhesive backed multilayer sheet to produce variably distributed adhesives and properties. Each of the two adhesives is unique and is cured differently to create a layer of adhesive that has differing adhesive properties on the sheet. A clear adhesive is applied to a top portion of cards before they are cut from the sheet and has a higher tackiness than the adhesive applied to the rest of the cards on the sheet in order to reduce glue buildup on blades cutting the cards from the sheet.

ADHESIVE COATING DEVICE, ADHESIVE COATING METHOD, AND ROTOR MANUFACTURING METHOD
An adhesive coating device for coating an inner wall surface of a workpiece provided with holes with an adhesive. A control device automatically executes an operation of applying the adhesive, the operation including positioning of the workpiece, relative positioning of a nozzle that applies the adhesive in a non-contact manner with respect to the workpiece, and moving of the nozzle, in which the adhesive is ejected and applied in an oblique direction from the nozzle to the inner wall surface of the hole, and the angle of the oblique direction is such an angle that the adhesive linearly ejected from the nozzle located outside the hole can be applied to the inner wall surface of the hole with a desired depth without interfering with an opening part of the hole.
METHOD FOR MONITORING THE MEDIA FLOW OF A JET OF DROPLETS
A method for monitoring the media flow of a jet of droplets is intended to enable reliable process management, especially in industrial applications, in a particularly simple and resource-saving manner. For this purpose signal signatures assigned to individual droplets are continuously recorded by time-resolved measurement of the intensity of the scattered light of a light beam crossing the droplet beam, from which a diagnostic parameter characteristic of the droplet beam is determined.
APPLICATION DEVICE FOR APPLYING ADHESIVE, AND ADHESIVE APPLICATION METHOD
An application method for applying an adhesive to an object includes applying, prior to applying the adhesive to a specified part of the object, the adhesive to a part different from the specified part, calculating an application quantity of the adhesive applied to the part different from the specified part, making a first correction configured to correct an application condition of the adhesive based on basis of a result of the calculation, and applying the adhesive to the specified part using the application condition corrected in the first correction.

Application tool
Provided is an application tool that allows reduction of an amount of waste by using no masking sheets, and can easily form a coated portion such as an antislip protrusion with reduced variation in a short time period. The application tool includes a support plate and a plurality of application bodies disposed at the support plate so as to protrude with height positions of the tips aligned with each other. A tip recess is disposed at the tip portion of each of the plurality of the application bodies as a holding recess for holding coating liquid.
METHOD FOR FORMING PARTING LINE
The present disclosure relates to a method for forming a parting line in a coating using an easily peelable coating material. The method includes: (i) attaching a masking tape to a part not to be coated on a boundary between a part to be coated and the part not to be coated along the boundary; (ii) performing a process to improve an adhesiveness with an easily peelable coating material on surfaces of a part in contact with the boundary of the part to be coated and/or a part in contact with the boundary of the masking tape; (iii) applying the easily peelable coating material over surfaces of the part to be coated and the part in contact with the boundary of the masking tape; and (iv) peeling off the masking tape.
COMPONENT FOR AN ELECTRIC MACHINE WITH A POLYMER COATING, AND METHOD FOR COATING A COMPONENT
A component for an electric machine includes a flat region in which an electric line runs when the component is integrated into the electric machine and which includes a sharp edged structure. A polymer layer adheres to the flat region without further aid such as to mask the sharp-edged structure and thereby protect from damage the electric line on the flat region. The polymer layer is made of cured plastic adhesive and jetted onto the flat region in the form of threads, such that the threads are spin-coated on top of one another in the form of overlapping loops and form a network structure which spans the sharp-edged structure.
