SIEVE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A SANITARY SUPPORT FOR A SCREEN MESH OF A SIEVE APPARATUS
20170297061 · 2017-10-19 · ·

In a sieve apparatus, a housing (1) is provided with an inlet section with a feed inlet for material to be sifted and a discharge section including at least one outlet. Means are provided for vibrating the screen mesh. The housing has two substantially vertical side walls(2), and a screen mesh (5) having at least one side edge (51) is supported by a support structure (6, 7) connected to the respective side wall (2). The support structure includes a support element (7) along each side wall and adapted to support the screen mesh (5). Each support element is provided as a support profile (7) having an inclined support surface (73) for the side edge (51) of the screen mesh and constituting a V-shaped structure protruding into the housing, said support surface (73) meeting a lower surface (74) in an apex (75) located at a distance from the side wall (2) inside the housing (1). Specifically, each V-shaped support profile (7) is formed as an integral part of the respective side wall (2).

CLEANING DEVICE
20170258011 · 2017-09-14 ·

The invention relates to a cleaning device with a frame that can be driven on a ground surface and with a vibrating screen which is mounted on the frame such that it can be moved to a limited extent and which is connected to a contact element. A vibrating roller is attached to the frame such that it can be rotated about a rotary axis, and it has an outer surface, in which radial elevations are formed. A pre-tensioning element pre-tensions the vibrating screen such that the contact element lies against the vibrating roller.

Vibratory apparatus with dynamic balancer and balancing method

A vibratory apparatus including a trough having one or more decks, with an inlet end and an outlet end, a first plurality of isolation springs disposed between the trough and ground, and a two-mass, sub-resonant frequency exciter supported on the trough. The trough and the exciter move 180-degrees out of phase with each other. The apparatus also includes a dynamic balancer including a plurality of isolation springs disposed between the exciter and ground.

CONTINUOUS SIEVING APPARATUSES FOR PUPAE SEPARATION

A continuous sieving apparatus is described. The continuous sieving apparatus includes a sieve surface attached to a wall. A set of openings is formed in the sieve surface so as to define a set of pathways extending through the sieve surface. The set of opening are defined by a length dimension that is greater than a width dimension. An action system is configured to move the sieve surface in one or more directions (e.g., horizontally and vertically). Such movement causes a first pupa having a first cephalothorax width that is less than the width dimension to move through any one of the set of openings, and a second pupa having a second cephalothorax width that is greater than the width dimension to be prevented from moving through the set of openings.

SIEVE ACTUATION

Example implementations provide a control system to control a system for actuating a sieve, the system comprising an actuator mechanism to actuate the sieve to produce a sieving action to sieve a particulate within the sieve, and a sensor to determine an electrical characteristic associated with the actuator mechanism; the controller comprising circuitry to determine the amount of the particulate within the sieve in response to the determined electrical characteristic associated with the actuator mechanism.
