Tools with removable information device
A removable assembly (38) comprising an information holding unit (36). The removable assembly is positionable in a material object (2), such as a tool, tool component or part, machine, machine component or part, device, etc., and can be removed therefrom by fluid pressure whereby the material object can be subjected to processing that would otherwise cause damage to, or destroy, the information holding unit (36).
MACHINE TOOL PROVIDED WITH SPINDLE HAVING MEASUREMENT FUNCTION
A machine tool includes: a hollow spindle including a hollow portion along an axial direction; a plurality of chuck claws openably mounted at a distal end portion of the hollow spindle, and configured to hold a workpiece; an operation rod inserted into the hollow portion of the hollow spindle in a movable manner, and configured to close the plurality of chuck claws with movement of the operation rod toward one side in the axial direction and open the plurality of chuck claws with movement of the operation rod toward the other side in the axial direction; and a measuring apparatus configured to measure an opening dimension of the plurality of chuck claws based on a movement amount of the operation rod.
WORKPIECE HOLDING DEVICE AND LOADING APPARATUS THAT USES THE WORKPIECE HOLDING DEVICE
A workpiece holding device includes: a chuck including a chuck body, and a plurality of chuck claws openably supported on the chuck body and configured to hold a workpiece; an operation rod configured to drive the plurality of chuck claws for opening and closing with movement of the operation rod; and a measuring apparatus configured to measure an opening dimension of the plurality of chuck claws based on a movement amount of the operation rod.
Hydraulic chuck device
A hydraulic chuck device includes a cylinder portion operated by pressure oil, a chuck opened and closed by operation of the cylinder portion, a pressure oil supply controlling pressure of pressure oil supplied to the cylinder portion, and a chuck controller controlling the pressure oil supply. When controlling the pressure oil supply to cause a jaw portion to perform a clamping operation, during movement of the jaw portion from an unclamping position to a preliminary position situated before a clamping position, the chuck controller supplies pressure oil set at a first pressure into a cylinder chamber for clamping to move the jaw portion quickly, and during movement of the jaw portion from the preliminary position to the clamping positon, the chuck controller supplies pressure oil set at a second pressure lower than the first pressure into the cylinder chamber for clamping to move the jaw portion slowly.
IDENTIFICATION DEVICE FOR A TOOL OR AN ASSEMBLY
A device for the identification of a tool which is accommodated in a tool holder includes a read/write head configured to communicate with an RFID transponder. The read/write head extends above and/or below the tool holder over at least 70% of an overall diameter of the tool holder. The tool holder has a longitudinal axis and, on its side, a recess which is formed perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tool holder and in which the RFID transponder is inserted such that the transfer curve of the RFID transponder runs upwards and/or downwards, as seen from the recess, in a direction of the longitudinal axis of the tool.
Tool including dummy chip
A rotating tool includes a tool body having an axis of rotation and a first recess for receiving an ID chip having a first mass and a first exterior geometry. The tool includes a dummy chip receivable in the first recess and the tool is rotationally balanced with the dummy chip in the first recess, wherein after balancing the dummy chip is removed and the ID chip is insertable in the first recess.
DEVICE FOR SECURING A DATA CARRIER TO A TOOL HOLDER, TOOL HOLDER AND TOOL SYSTEM
A device for securing a data carrier to a tool holder is disclosed. In order to allow the data carrier to be easily secured to the tool holder in a reliable and permanent manner, the device includes a sleeve-shaped main body which has, at a first end, at least one projection projecting radially inwards and has, in the region of a second end opposite the first end, at least one projection projecting radially outwards.
MACHINE TOOL
The invention relates to a machine tool apparatus having a spindle (2), with a base flange (4) provided for attachment to the spindle (2) as part of a clamping tool quick-change tooling system (1), which further comprises an exchangeable flange (5), which is connectable to the chucking tool (3). Line sections (46) for data and/or energy transfer are arranged in the spindle (2), the base flange (4), the exchangeable flange (5) and the chucking tool (6), whereby coupling members (47) for connecting the line sections (46) to form a single line (FIG. 11) are provided on adjacent components in the transfer chain.
Opening/closing control device of chuck
The invention relates to a device controlling a chuck of a machine tool and an auxiliary equipment thereof, thereby facilitating a setup work. Gripping and releasing of a work are confirmed by registering a work gripping position and a work releasing position of a chuck, a kind of a used chuck, and a gripping direction of a work in an external memory device every product type of the work, transferring the work gripping position and the work releasing position in correspondence to the product type to a controller of a machine tool displaying them on a display of an operator control panel, detecting a position of an operation rod opening and closing a claw of the chuck by a stroke sensor, referring to the gripping position of the work, and detecting conformity of the detecting position and set values of the work gripping position and the work releasing position.
