LASER GUIDES AND METHODS OF DRILLING HOLES WITH DRILLING EQUIPMENT USING LASER GUIDES
Laser guides and methods of using the laser guides in conjunction with drilling equipment to accurately produce holes in workpieces. Such a laser guide includes a body, a laser source configured to generate a laser beam, a first end of the body configured to be releasably coupled to the spindle of the drilling machine, and a second end of the body configured to emit the laser beam such that the laser beam is axially aligned with an axis of rotation of the spindle of the drilling machine when the first end is coupled to the spindle.
Adjustable pocket-cutting device
An adjustable pocket-cutting device includes a worktop supporting a workpiece, an actuation lever assembly including an actuation lever pivoting about an actuation lever pivot and configured to support a router having a router bit such that the router bit sweeps through a slot in the worktop and into a workpiece as the actuation lever pivots from a retracted position to a deployed position, and a stop assembly for adjustably limiting pivotal movement of the actuation lever to the deployed position. The stop assembly includes a stop lever adjustably mounted relative to the worktop and a stop member extending from the stop lever across or through the actuation lever, wherein the stop member abuts against an abutment surface of the actuation lever to adjustably limit the movement of the actuation lever to the deployed position.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOUNTING A FIXTURE TO A VERTICAL SURFACE
Various examples embodiments are directed to issues such as those addressed above and/or others which may become apparent from the following disclosure concerning the involving the attachment of a fixture to a vertical surface.
System and Method for Connecting a Compression-Type Coupling to a Coated Conduit
A tool for removing a coating from an end of a coated conduit comprising a metallic conduit having an outer diameter and a polymeric material applied over the outer diameter thereof is provided. The tool comprises: a guide member having an outer diameter sized to fit within an internal diameter of the metallic conduit; and a cylindrical cutting member having a substantially closed first end rotatably connected to an arbor, a substantially open second end, and a plurality of teeth elements. The cylindrical cutting member has an inner diameter that is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the metallic conduit such that when the cylindrical cutting member is rotated, the teeth elements remove the polymeric material from the outer diameter of the metallic conduit.
Rotary head guide system for drilling machine
A rotary head guide system for a mobile drilling machine is disclosed. The rotary head guide system may include a drilling mast including a mast frame having an opening along substantially an entire length of the mast frame. The mast frame may include edges forming flanges on each side of the opening. The flanges may extend along the length of the mast frame. Additionally, the rotary head guide system may include a rotary head movably coupled to the drilling mast by a support structure including at least two guide assemblies engaging the flanges.
Jig for firearm lower receiver manufacture
A machining tool assembly is provided for machining a blank to form a firearm lower receiver. The assembly includes a pair of side plates positionable on opposed sides of the blank to capture the blank therebetween. A template plate having a template aperture is adapted to be removeably attachable to the side plates. The template aperture is aligned with a top surface of the blank and is adapted for machining a cavity within the blank having a peripheral contour complimentary to a peripheral contour of the template aperture. A centering mechanism is adapted to be removeably attachable to the template plate, with the centering mechanism including an opening aligned with a corresponding void formed on the blank to align the blank with the template plate.
DEVICE FOR REMOVING AN INSTALLED FASTENER IN AN OPENING
The present invention concerns a device for removing a fastener (12) installed in the hole of a structure, said device comprising: a base (20) capable of being fastened to the structure, and a guiding device, defining a cylindrical passage (78) and including: a support (48) equipped with a first removable assembly means with the base in a first assembled configuration; a blocking element (50), mobile relative to the support; and a device (83, 84) for adjusting an axial position of the blocking element relative to the support, to a blocked configuration corresponding to the engagement of said blocking element with the fastener (12), so as to prevent the rotation of said fastener relative to the structure.
Dust Extraction Device
A fastening device for a dust extraction device is configured to detachably connect the dust extraction device to a hand-held power tool. The fastening device includes a first connection unit and a second connection unit. The first connection unit is configured to connect the dust extraction device to the hand-held power tool by form closure. The second connection unit is configured to connect the dust extraction device to the hand-held power tool by force closure.
Universal tool for removing broken threaded fasteners
A guide for drilling holes into broken threaded fasteners includes an oblong bar having a stepped slot along its length and a drill guide at one end. Securing sliders travel along the stepped slot and are secured to a structure to be repaired by threaded fasteners through the sliders. Once secured with the drill guide aligned over the broken threaded fastener (possibly with the assistance of an optical sighting device to mark the central axis of the drill guide), the operator drills through the drill guide and into the broken fastener. The tool is removed and the broken fastener can be extracted by various means.
