Method of Manufacturing Shim for Die Coater Using Milling Process

A method of manufacturing a shim for a die coater is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method of manufacturing a shim for a die coater, where the shim is applied to an electrode slurry die of the die coater and used for discharging an electrode slurry from the die coater, comprising milling a surface of a metal plate to prepare the shim. Using the method herein, it is possible to manufacture a shim for a die coater having a low thickness deviation by processing the shim for a die coater through a milling process.

Indexable tangential railway wheel milling inserts and cutting tool holders

Railway wheel milling tool system including a railway wheel truing cutters and tangential railway wheel milling inserts are disclosed. The tangential milling inserts have at least four indexable cutting edges, each with a central wiper cutting edge segment between two convex cutting edge segments. The milling inserts may allow both the flat portion and curved portion of a railway wheel to be machined with an improved surface finish. The railway wheel truing cutters comprise a plurality of insert pockets structured and arranged to receive the tangential railway wheel milling inserts.

Tool body of cutting tool for indexable inserts, and round milling insert

A cutting tool body for indexable inserts, and a round milling insert, are configured not to cause floating or rattling upon mounting the milling insert. The tool body includes a recessed portion for fitting one of a plurality of protrusions thereto, the protrusions being formed in the milling insert to protrude in the radial direction. The recessed portion has two inner surfaces having curved portions disposed so the distance between them gradually decreases at the contact area between the recessed portion and the protrusion fitted thereto. The milling insert includes protrusions protruding radially, any of which fit into a recessed portion on a mounting seat of the tool body. The protrusions each have two curved outer surfaces arranged so the distance between them gradually decreases toward a tip of the protrusion, at the contact area between the protrusion and the recessed portion into which the protrusion is fitted.

Gaseous fuel supply apparatus for sintering machine

Apparatus for supplying diluted gaseous fuel to not more than a lower limit combustion concentration at downstream of suction type sintering machine including a hood having similar width as a circularly-moving pallet and arranged above charged layer to surround the pallet in all directions, pipes disposed at upper position of charged layer in the hood and supplying the fuel air inside the hood, baffle plates formed by arranging plate materials having dog-leg shaped cross-section in plural rows and steps at intervals in the widthwise and height directions, respectively, of the hood to make each interval formed between adjacent plate materials in widthwise direction of the hood in each steps vertically alternate; fences having a void and arranged on both sides upper ends of the hood; vortex suppressing plates formed between fences at intervals having a void ratio, 20˜80%; whereby the gaseous fuel leakage supplied to the outside is prevented.

Bell-shaped milling cutter for producing preferably profiled, arcuate grooves, has a main body in the form of a circular disk and a plurality of cutting edge carriers which extend substantially perpendicularly to the plane of the main body and which are arranged in succession in the peripheral direction along a circular path about the center of the main body and are mounted releasably to the main body. To provide a bell-shaped milling cutter having the features set out in the opening part of this specification, which permits simplified and less expensive production of arcuate grooves without having to forego the precise arrangement and orientation of the cutting bits of the known bell-shaped milling cutters, provided at the main body are positioning devices which permit mounting of the cutting edge carriers in a plurality of mutually different radial spacings on the main body.
