Robot controller and arc welding robot system
A robot controller includes a contact detection unit that detects contact of a welding wire protruding from a welding torch with a welding target, an override-value adjustment unit that sets and changes an override value for increasing or decreasing an operating speed of the robot from a predetermined speed, and a control unit which receives an operation signal from a teaching operation device and that controls the robot according to the operation signal at the operating speed based on the override value which is set by the override-value adjustment unit. When the contact of the welding wire with the welding target is detected by the contact detection unit, the control unit temporarily stops the robot, and the override-value adjustment unit decreases the override value.
Laser Fabrication with Beam Detection
A computer-numerically-controlled (CNC) machine is configured to (i) measure a power of a beam of electromagnetic energy at a location between a source of the electromagnetic energy and a destination in the CNC machine, the beam of electromagnetic energy traveling from the source to the destination being susceptible to one or more interferences, and the one or more interferences being capable of altering the power of the beam of electromagnetic energy by at least diverting, away from an intended path for the beam of electromagnetic energy, at least a portion of the beam of electromagnetic energy, (ii) detect, based at least on the measured power of the beam of electromagnetic energy being less than a threshold value, an interference of the beam of electromagnetic energy, and (iii) in response to detecting the interference of the beam of electromagnetic energy, perform one or more actions.
TRANSPORT SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING MATERIAL TO BE SOLDERED THROUGH A SOLDERING APPARATUS, AND SOLDERING APPARATUS WITH LATERALLY MOVABLE MIDDLE SUPPORT
A transport system for transporting material to be soldered through a soldering apparatus, and soldering apparatus with laterally movable middle support. The transport system for transporting the material to be soldered through the soldering apparatus, includes at least one transport track extending in the transport direction in which the material to be soldered is transportable in a transport plane in the transport direction, wherein the transport track includes two transport bars extending in the transport direction and at least one middle support with a middle bar extending in the transport direction. The middle bar has a revolving conveying means with folding elements, and the conveying means provides a feed in the transport direction and a return counter to the transport direction. The folding elements are displaceable between a support position and a folded position. Further provided is an adjusting device for transverse adjustment of the at least one middle support in a transverse direction running transversely to the transport direction, characterized in that a distance A between an underside of at least one transport bar facing away from the transport plane and the transport plane is smaller than a distance B between an upper side of the at least one middle support facing the transport plane and the transport plane, and that the adjustment device is designed such that the middle support with folding elements is movable in the folded position in the transverse direction underneath the at least one transport bar into a parked position provided laterally next to the transport bar.
Fastener welding apparatus
A fastener welding apparatus having a frame assembly, a welding assembly, a coupling assembly and a locating assembly. The welding assembly has a welder frame and a welding electrode assembly coupled thereto. The coupling assembly has a suspension frame, a frame axle and a welding axle. The frame axle is fixedly engaged to the frame assembly and the welding axle is fixedly engaged to the welding assembly. The suspension frame is pivotably coupled to each of the frame axle and the welding axle. The locating assembly is structurally configured to selectively allow the suspension frame to pivot relative to the frame axle and the welding axle.
OPERATING DEVICE FOR A WELDING POWER SUPPLY
An operating device of a welding system is provided with a display means for visually displaying set parameter values of the welding system, and comprises input means by which parameters of the welding system can be changed. An operating device includes a plurality of input means arranged outside the display means, is provided. The input means is designed as soft keys, wherein, each of the soft keys can be assigned parameters of the arc welding method or functions, via operation of the operating device, due to the fact that the display means is designed as a touch-sensitive touchscreen and the respective soft key can be assigned a specific parameter or a specific function by selection from a predefined selection of parameters or functions displayed on the display means and, after selection, the respective parameter can be changed or the function can be applied by actuating the respective soft key.
WELDING WINDOW DEVICE
A welding window device includes an elongated body that defines a welding cavity that extends through the body from a top side to a bottom side. The welding cavity is framed by an inlet end, an outlet end, and lateral sides of the body. The body includes one or more gas channels inwardly extending through one or more of the first lateral side or the second lateral side from an inlet opening in the inlet end toward the outlet end of the body. The gas channels include nozzle openings inwardly oriented toward the welding cavity. The gas channels are positioned in the body to direct a gas into the welding cavity during welding of other bodies together within the welding cavity.
System and method for modular portable welding and seam tracking
A modular two-part welding and processing platform is described. A cart section is capable of rotating around objects such as pipes and cylinders, or of linear travel along plates or the like. This cart section reversibly couples to a processing section supplied for instance with welding apparatus, painting apparatus, cleaning means, analysis means or the like. By means of this two-part device, work pieces can be cleaned, welded, and inspected quickly and accurately. Special marks may be provided on the work piece which in conjunction with sensors and motoring means on the cart, allow for precise positioning of the process head with respect to the work.
INTERNAL WELDING OF PIPES AND PROFILES
The invention relates to a device (1) for the internal welding of pipes and profiles, comprising a cantilever arm (2, 2a), which is secured to a suspension (3), which cantilever arm can be inserted into the pipe or profile to be welded and on which a welding head (4) is displaceably attached, the cantilever arm (2, 2a) further comprising at least one laser (5) and at least one camera (6). To avoid the disadvantageous effects of magnetism and heat on the position of the welding head (4), the invention proposes that a laser (5) is attached on the suspension (3), and a camera (6) for observing the laser beam (5a) is attached on the end of the cantilever arm (3) or on the welding head (4). A correction signal is calculated from the change in position of the laser beam (5a) observed with the camera (6) and forwarded to a control unit for adjusting the welding head (4) by means of displacement devices (8, 9).

A welding system for applying a weld to a workpiece, the welding system including a frame, a welding torch mounted on the frame, the welding torch including an electrode; a wire guide adapted to direct a wire toward the electrode; a wire alignment assembly including a fixture frame having a wire guide holder mounted thereon, the wire guide being supported on the wire guide holder, wherein the wire alignment assembly includes multiple degrees of freedom for adjusting the position of the wire guide as needed for a given welding operation.
Mobile welding system
A mobile welding system that does not rely exclusively on a track to define the path of the welder. The present invention generally provides a mobile welder adapted to move along a work piece, the mobile welder including a chassis supporting a motor assembly; a travel assembly attached to the chassis and adapted to support the chassis over a portion of the work piece, wherein the motor is coupled to the travel assembly to selectively cause the chassis to move relative to the work piece; a controller connected to the motor assembly to control movement of the chassis relative to the work piece; a chassis holder connected to the chassis, the chassis holder being adapted to provide a force holding the chassis a selected distance from the work piece; and a welder supported on the chassis, the welder including an implement adapted to perform a welding operation, wherein the implement is supported on the chassis at a location where the implement and the chassis define an uninterrupted line of sight from the implement to the work piece, wherein the chassis holder is spaced from the line of sight a distance sufficient to prevent the chassis holder from interfering with the welding operation.
