PISTON ACTUATED ROTARY UNION
A rotary union includes a housing forming a bore and a piston bore having an open end and disposed at a radially offset distance with respect to the bore. The piston bore is fluidly isolated from the bore. A seal carrier is slidably disposed within the bore, and includes an actuation arm extending radially outwardly relative to the bore such that it overlaps the piston bore. A piston slidably disposed in the piston bore is extendible to releasably abut the actuation arm and urge the seal carrier to displace relative to the bore when the piston displaces relative to the piston bore.

Changing system
A cutting machine having a table with a working surface is disclosed. The working surface including a crossbeam above the working surface configured to be linearly positioned parallel to a first horizontal axis, a module, mounted on the crossbeam configure to be positioned parallel to a second horizontal axis, which extends perpendicularly to the first horizontal axis, a tool holder mounted in the module configured to move in a vertical axis and rotate about the vertical axis, and to accept one of a plurality of different interchangeable tools, and a control unit, wherein the tool holder has a connection device designed to supply the tool with power and a fluid, wherein the supply with the fluid is provided via a rotary joint, and wherein the power is provide via a rotary transmitter.
Motor spindle
The invention relates to a motor spindle comprising at least one spindle drive which can be supplied with energy and/or operating supplies via at least one feed line. This motor spindle has a fixedly installed first coupling element of a multi-coupling, to the ports of which the feed lines for transmitting energy and/or operating supplies are connected. The invention also relates to a machine tool comprising such a motor spindle, wherein the machine tool has a second coupling element of the multi-coupling. On this second coupling element, the respective complementary ports for transmitting energy and/or operating supplies are arranged.
Utilities supply apparatus for tool holder of machine tool
Utilities supplied through a first utility path of a turning tool holder via a docking device is supplied to a second utility path of an adjacent rotating tool holder through a communication arrangement, there is no need to provide a complex hydraulic line, a pneumatic line and a coupler for receiving the utilities from the docking device at a rearward side of the rotating tool holder. A rearward size of the rotating tool holder may be minimized, so that even when the rotating tool holder is mounted on the turret, no interference occurs with the docking device in the rearward direction when the turret rotates. As a result, it is possible to use the rotating tool holder, to which utilities supply is necessary, even in the turret which is provide with the docking device.
