Machine tool and origin point correction method
A machine tool includes a turning position adjustment unit configured to control a turning drive unit so that, when a tool is transferred between a spindle and a grip, if an amount of sway of the tool is greater than or equal to a threshold value, a turret is turned and the amount of sway of the tool becomes less than the threshold value, and an origin point correcting unit configured to correct an origin point in accordance with a turning position of the turret acquired by a turning position acquisition unit, when the turret is turned by the turning drive unit so that the amount of sway of the tool becomes less than the threshold value.
Turret tool rest and machine tool
A turret tool rest includes a main shaft, a turret turning shaft, a turret, a joint base, a mill housing connection shaft, and an engagement member. The main shaft rotates a tool. A part of the main shaft is provided in the turret turning shaft. The turret turning shaft has a first coupling hole. The turret is connected to the turret turning shaft via which the turret is rotated. The joint base has a second coupling hole. The mill housing connection shaft is connected to the joint base. The mill housing connection shaft is provided between the main shaft and the turret turning shaft. Each of the mill housing connection shaft, the joint base, the part of the main shaft, and the turret turning shaft are disposed to rotate around a rotation axis of the turret. The engagement member moves in the first coupling hole and the second coupling hole.

Machine tool and standby time changing method
A machine tool is equipped with a rotary table, and a clamp mechanism which clamps the rotary table in a manner so that the rotary table does not rotate. A clamping operation by the clamp mechanism is started after a standby time has elapsed from completion of indexing of the rotary table. The machine tool further includes a positional deviation calculating unit adapted to calculate a positional deviation of the rotary table when the clamping operation by the clamp mechanism is completed, and a standby time changing unit adapted to shorten the standby time in the case that an absolute value of the positional deviation is less than a threshold value, and to lengthen the standby time in the case that the absolute value of the positional deviation is greater than the threshold value.

Indexing device
The present invention provides an indexing device for a turntable which is provided with a plurality of roller followers arranged at equal angular intervals; a cam component is provided on one side of the turntable. The cam component is provided with a first side rib wall with a continuous cam curved surface in a first direction and a second side rib wall with a continuous cam curved surface in a second direction, and the first side rib wall and the second side rib wall face opposite sides to form a cam groove with a variable groove width for guiding the movements of the roller followers and rotating the turntable; wherein the first side rib wall and the second side rib wall can compress on at least one pair of the roller followers of the turntable symmetrically in the first and second directions, so as to effectively eliminate the backlash problem between the cam component and the roller followers and improve the positioning accuracy of the turntable.
