BLADE SHARPENERS
A blade sharpener for manual use includes a base, and at least one sharpening device pivotally attached to the base. Each sharpening device has a channel for receiving a blade to be sharpened. A second pivotally attached device may be sharpening device or a guide. The two devices are pivotable independently of each other thereby accommodating any curvature of a blade to be sharpened as the blade sharpener is moved along the blade. A blade sharpener for use with a powered rotary tool includes a main body having a bore for receiving the powered rotary tool, and a channel for receiving a blade to be sharpened. A guide having a channel is pivotably attached to the main body to accommodate any curvature of a blade.

JIG FOR SHARPENING MOWER BLADES
A jig assembly is disclosed herein for holding a mower blade and a grinding tool during a sharpening operation on the mower blade. The jig assembly includes a mast, a fixture portion, and a jig portion. The fixture portion and jog portion can be mounted to the mast. The jig portion can include an arm and a tool-seat. The arm can include at least a first link and a second link movable relative to one another. The first link can be pivotally connected to the mast with a first pin defining an arm pivot axis. The first link and the second link can be interconnected whereby the second link is prevented from rotating in any plane that contains the arm pivot axis. The tool-seat can be disposed on the second link.
GRINDING POSITIONING PLATE FOR REEL-TYPE MOWER UNIT
One example provides a grinding positioning plate for a reel-type mower unit including a cutting reel having a rotational axis. The grinding positioning plate includes a main body including a pivot element having a pivot axis, and at least one pair of clamping assemblies, each clamping assembly to clamp to a corresponding mounting flange of the reel-type mower unit to mount the main body to reel-type mower unit such that the pivot axis is in parallel with the rotational axis and at a known horizontal distance from the rotational axis.

MOWER REEL GRINDING SYSTEM WITH ROTATING REAR BRACKETS
A mower reel grinding system a plurality of mower unit types, including a grinding wheel shaft, the grinding wheel shaft at a fixed position in an x-y plane. A mounting plate includes a number of predetermined fixed mounting positions on the mounting plate, each predetermined fixed mounting positions corresponding to at least one type of mower unit of the plurality of mower unit types, a mounting bracket to receive a mower unit, the mounting bracket selectively moveable to the predetermined fixed position corresponding to the mower unit type to be received thereby, and a pivot point about which the mounting plate rotates to adjust a position of the mounting bracket in the x-y plane relative to the grinding wheel shaft.

MOWER REEL GRINDING SYSTEM USING PREDETERMINED BRACKET POSITIONS
A mower reel grinding apparatus for a plurality of types of mower units, the apparatus including a grinding wheel having a grinding wheel axis, and an enclosure including a table having a plurality of integral mounting channels. Each mounting channel is at a predetermined fixed position relative to the grinding wheel axis and each corresponds to at least one type of mower unit of the plurality of mower unit types, each mounting channel to receive a pivot element of one of the corresponding mower unit types such that when the pivot element is seated in the mounting channel a cutting reel of the mower unit is positioned at a desired position relative to the grinding wheel axis.
