APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PEENING OF MACHINE COMPONENTS
A peening device for treating a component includes a shot media propulsion source configured to propel a quantity of shot media. The device also includes a plurality of treatment enclosures each selectively coupleable to the shot media propulsion source. Each of the treatment enclosures has a shape complementary to a corresponding one of a plurality of portions of the component, such that each treatment enclosure and the corresponding portion cooperate to enclose the shot media.
Portable and repositionable deposition material applicator enclosure and application system for applying deposition material on a substrate employing non-adherent deposition material waste removal and selective enclosure coupling and decoupling structures or systems employing a plurality of selective coupling forces
Apparatuses and methods related to improving environmental protection and waste collection from application of deposition material using portable systems that are easier for operators to use on surfaces such as ship hulls are provided. Embodiments include a portable and repositionable deposition material applicator enclosure and application system for applying deposition material on a substrate employing non-adherent deposition material waste removal and selective enclosure coupling and decoupling structures or systems employing magnetic and suction or differential pressure based forces.
Surface cleaning and engraving machine via a vacuum blasting process
Essential constructive elements of the currently known machines and devices, which work by means of vacuum blasting, are improved in the surface cleaning and engraving machine that operates via a vacuum jet process in order to enable more effective cleaning of different surfaces, further applications and simplification of the handling of the machine or device. With the modifications and additions made, the application options of the machine or device are increased, the potential of clogging the suction hose is reduced to a minimum, the service life of the machine is extended and the efficiency and operating options of the blasting hood are improved. For this purpose, technical and design details of an already known machine are supplemented and improved; there are, for instance, a metering device (3), additions to the blasting hood (6) and measures to extend the service life of the machine by using rock impact films (31).

Remotely operated abrasive blasting apparatus, system, and method
A remotely operated abrasive blasting apparatus is provided. Systems incorporating the apparatus, and methods of treating surfaces using the apparatus and systems are also provided. The abrasive blasting apparatus eliminates the need for human operators to be present in the area being treated, and allows areas inaccessible to human operators to be treated.
TEMPERATURE CONTROL FOR BLAST WHEEL HOUSING
The temperature of the chamber housing a shot wheel of a shot blaster is controlled by positioning a fan exterior to the chamber that creates air flow across a mounting plate defining the chamber. The air flow created by the fan may also pass around the bearing surrounding the drive shaft that turns the shot wheel.

WATERJET SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A waterjet system is provided, including a pump configured to pump fluid, an electric motor configured to drive the pump, a hopper configured to store abrasive, and a mixing chamber configured to mix abrasive from the hopper and the fluid from the pump to produce a slurry. A cutting bed is configured to receive a workpiece to be cut. A cutting head is configured to expel the slurry through the outlet nozzle as a high-velocity jet into the cutting bed.
Vacuum spray apparatus and uses thereof
Spray apparatus and uses thereof are described herein. A vacuum spray nozzle apparatus may include a first tube in fluid communication with a fluid source, a rotor coupled to the tube, a conduit in fluid communication with the passages of the first tube, and a second tube coupled to the conduit, the second tube being in fluid communication with a vacuum source. The rotor is in fluid communication with the pressurized fluid source. The conduit is substantially arched or angled such that an outlet of the conduit is offset a radial distance in a radial direction from the rotor axis, and when pressurized fluid is ejected from the outlet, during use, rotates the conduit. The vacuum spray nozzle apparatus is configured to remove components from a material through the second tube when a pressure of the system is reduced using the vacuum source.
