Attachment mechanism for a power tool
An accessory for use with a rotary power tool having a rotatable spindle and a first mating member. The accessory includes a housing having a body and a plurality of arms extending therefrom, a ball detent selectively engagable with the spindle to lock the accessory to the power tool, a sleeve slidable along the arms between a first position in which the sleeve biases the ball detent into engagement with the spindle to axially secure the accessory to the tool, and a second position in which the ball detent is disengageable from the spindle to release the accessory from the tool, and a second mating member coupled to the arms of the housing.
Powered socket wrench assembly
A powered socket wrench assembly includes a power tool that has a back end and a front end. The power tool is elongated along a longitudinal axis extending between the back end and the front end thereby facilitating the power tool to be inserted into a hard to reach area. Additionally, the power tool includes a chuck that is rotated in a first direction or a second direction when the power tool is turned on. A drive unit is insertable into the chuck on the power tool thereby facilitating the power tool to rotate the drive unit when the power tool is turned on. The drive unit includes a socket that is rotatable about an axis oriented perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the power tool when the power tool is turned on.
ROTATION ASSIST TOOL AND ASSIST-ATTACHED ROTATION TOOL
Provided are a rotation assist tool 10 attached to a base side of a rotary shaft 12 having an output unit 11 on a front side thereof and a assist-attached rotation tool 31 including the rotation assist tool 10. The rotation assist tool 10 has a first rotating body 13; a second rotating body 14 that is held by the first rotating body 13 to be rotatable in forward and reverse directions; and at least one elastically deformable body 22 that is elastically deformed as the first rotating body 13 and the second rotating body 14 rotate relative to each other, and transmits rotation between the first rotating body 13 and the second rotating body 14, wherein the base side of the rotary shaft 12 is fixed to the first rotating body 13.
ATTACHMENT MECHANISM FOR A POWER TOOL
An accessory for use with a rotary power tool having a rotatable spindle and a first mating member. The accessory includes a housing having a body and a plurality of arms extending therefrom, a hub selectively engagable with the spindle to lock the accessory to the power tool, and a sleeve slidable along the arms between a first position and a second position, where the sleeve includes a plurality of apertures through which the corresponding plurality of arms extend. When the sleeve is in the first position the sleeve locks the hub to the spindle to secure the accessory to the power tool, and wherein when the sleeve is in the second position the sleeve disengages the hub from the spindle to release the accessory from the power tool.
FASTENING TOOL
A fastening tool includes: a bit holding portion which detachably holds a driver bit and is configured to rotate in a circumferential direction of the driver bit and move in an axial direction of the driver bit; a motor configured to perform at least one of rotation of the bit holding portion and movement of the bit holding portion along the axial direction; and a control unit configured to control a position of the bit holding portion along the axial direction by a rotation amount of the motor. The control unit is configured to stop rotation of the motor based on a load applied to the motor rotated in one direction of moving the bit holding portion in a direction approaching a fastening target.
Multi-Bit Drill Chuck Adaptor
An adaptor head mountable in a drill chuck, the chuck adaptor head having interchangeable tool bits for efficiently performing drill and drive operations that require an assortment of bits. A quick change of bits is realized by mounting each bit in a pivotable yoke cradle that guides the bit from a “head-up detent position” to an “head-down” active position” when needed, eliminating the need for chucking and unchucking of bits. In a first embodiment, the chuck adaptor head is configured to mount four or more bits on yoke cradle members for rapid, uninterrupted use by rotating the bits in and out of a driver socket at the end of a rotating spindle.
NUT RUNNER ACCESSORY FOR POWER TOOL
A nut runner accessory for a power-driven tool is provided. The nut runner accessory can include a gear assembly received in a housing. The gear assembly transfers an externally generated force to a driver head of the nut runner accessory. The driver head can include a plurality of stepped pockets that can receive and engage different sizes and/or configurations of nuts to be threaded onto/off of a threaded rod. The driver head can be counterweighted, to counteract imbalance generated due to an offset between a center of mass of the driver head and a center of rotation of the driver head.
Ratchet Wrench Drill Attachment
The present invention provides a ratchet wrench attachment for a drill. The device includes an elongated body including a ratchet head disposed on one end therof, wherein the ratchet head is removably securable thereto. The ratchet head includes an interior gear, which is affixed to a tube having a central aperture. A removable drive shaft-secured to the central aperture, and thus connected to the gear—-extends outward from the first end of the elongated body. The drive shaft extends through the elongated body beyond a periphery the opposite end of the elongated body. In one embodiment, the drive shaft comprises a hexagonal cross-section, whereby the drive shaft may be secured within the chuck of a power drill. The power drill causes the drive shaft to rotate, which, in turn, causes the ratchet head to rotate in a desired direction. The device can be used with any ordinary power drill.
Method and system for gondola alignment
A leveling assembly including a levelling bit with a first portion that engages a screw head of a levelling screw in a base of a gondola assembly and a second portion that countersinks around a portion of the leveling screw. The levelling assembly further includes an alignment measuring system configured to measure alignment of slots in the gondola assembly. The alignment measuring system includes a first bar attached to a retractable cord and a second bar movable along the cord. The first bar is shaped for insertion into a first slot of a first upright and the second bar is shaped for insertion into a second slot of a second upright. The cord is shaped to extend along a face of a third upright between the first and second upright when the first bar is inserted into the first slot and the second bar is inserted into the second slot.
