A retrofittable auxiliary pliers handle assembly includes a coupler removably coupled to a grip of a pair of pliers. The coupler is positionable between a free end of the grip and a pivot of the pliers. The coupler includes a receiver positioned laterally away from an exterior lateral surface of the grip. An auxiliary handle is positioned in the receiver such that the auxiliary handle is positioned adjacent to the exterior lateral surface and extends away from the pivot. A finger space is defined between the auxiliary handle and the grip. The auxiliary handle comprises a plate that elongated and has a first end, a second end, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, an upper edge and a lower edge. The coupler engages the plate adjacent to the first end such that the first lateral side faces the exterior lateral surface.

A retrofittable auxiliary pliers handle assembly includes a coupler removably coupled to a grip of a pair of pliers. The coupler is positionable between a free end of the grip and a pivot of the pliers. The coupler includes a receiver positioned laterally away from an exterior lateral surface of the grip. An auxiliary handle is positioned in the receiver such that the auxiliary handle is positioned adjacent to the exterior lateral surface and extends away from the pivot. A finger space is defined between the auxiliary handle and the grip. The auxiliary handle comprises a plate that elongated and has a first end, a second end, a first lateral side, a second lateral side, an upper edge and a lower edge. The coupler engages the plate adjacent to the first end such that the first lateral side faces the exterior lateral surface.

A fishhook remover for dehooking a fishhook from a catch is provided. The fishhook remover includes a first jaw and a second jaw, wherein the first jaw has a needle for engaging an eye of the fishhook, the needle projecting from a surface of the first jaw toward an opposing surface of the second jaw; wherein the second jaw has an opening on the opposing surface that is configured to receive the needle. The first and second jaws are operatively coupled to move between an open position where the first and second jaws are separated by a maximum distance possible and the eye of the fishhook can fit over the needle, and a closed position where the first and second jaws are at their closest approach to one another and the needle contacts the second jaw to securely retain the fishhook between the first and second jaws.

A fishhook remover for dehooking a fishhook from a catch is provided. A hand tool with a cutting function is disclosed. The hand tool is used for cutting a wire. The hand tool includes a first body, a second body, a first plier, a second plier, a pivoting piece, a blade, and a knife drill. The second body is arranged symmetrically with the first body. The second plier is arranged symmetrically with the first plier. The pivoting piece is simultaneously pivotally connected to the first body, the second body, the first plier, and the second plier. The knife drill corresponds to the blade, and the blade and the knife drill are respectively arranged on the first body or the first plier such that, when the first plier and the second plier are pressed, the blade approaches the knife drill so as to cut the wire.

A hand tool with a cutting function is disclosed. The hand tool is used for cutting a wire. The hand tool includes a first body, a second body, a first plier, a second plier, a pivoting piece, a blade, and a knife drill. The second body is arranged symmetrically with the first body. The second plier is arranged symmetrically with the first plier. The pivoting piece is simultaneously pivotally connected to the first body, the second body, the first plier, and the second plier. The knife drill corresponds to the blade, and the blade and the knife drill are respectively arranged on the first body or the first plier such that, when the first plier and the second plier are pressed, the blade approaches the knife drill so as to cut the wire.

A tool is provided in order to facilitate utilization by users in a wide variety of applications. By way of example, a multipurpose tool may include first and second handles configured for relative movement between a closed position and an open position. At least the first handle includes an axle extending thereacross. The multipurpose tool also includes one or more tool members rotatably mounted upon the axle and foldable into the first handle and first and second jaws rotatably connected to the first and second handles, respectively. At least the first jaw defines an opening through which the axle of the first handle extends. The multipurpose tool further includes a resilient member disposed at least partially within the opening in order to apply a bias force to the first jaw during rotation of the first jaw relative to the first handle.

A multi-tool includes a pair of plates having respective handle portions, joint portions, and head portions, and the plates pivotally connected to each other at the joint portions and having respective opposite edges extended along the handle portions. At least one of the plates is to be pivoted relative to the other of the plates to establish an open position and a closed position of the plates, and, in the closed position of the plates, the plates to overlap each other and the opposite edges of the handle portions of the plates to be substantially aligned.

A multi-tool includes a pair of plates having respective handle portions, joint portions, and head portions, and the plates pivotally connected to each other at the joint portions and having respective opposite edges extended along the handle portions. At least one of the plates is to be pivoted relative to the other of the plates to establish an open position and a closed position of the plates, and, in the closed position of the plates, the plates to overlap each other and the opposite edges of the handle portions of the plates to be substantially aligned.

A crimping tool with a crimping opening extending at an angle to the axial direction of the tool. The tool can include jaws with multiple crimping openings cooperatively defined thereby at different angles relative to the longitudinal axial direction of the tool. For example, the crimping openings can begin at a respective faces of the jaw and such faces can extend at different angles relative to the longitudinal axial direction of the tool. In this manner, the tool can allow crimping of connectors at a variety of different angles, reduce jaw length and width, and improve the leverage of the crimpers.
