CONTROL METHOD FOR A HAMMER DRILL
The control method for a hammer drill (1) provides the following steps. During basic operation, the motor (5) rotates at an operating speed for the drilling operation with chiseling action in order to rotationally drive the tool holder (2) and to drive the hammer mechanism (6) with a nominal striking power. The torque coupling (21) is monitored with the aid of a sensor (26). If a disengagement of the torque coupling (21) occurs, the striking power of the hammer mechanism (6) is reduced to below 10% of the nominal striking power during a disengagement of the torque coupling (21), and the torque coupling (21) is driven. When the disengagement of the torque coupling (21) ends, the striking power of the hammer mechanism (6) is increased to the nominal striking power and the torque coupling (21) is driven at the operating speed for the drilling operation with chiseling action.
Percussion tool
A percussion tool, for performing a chiseling operation on a workpiece with a chisel, comprises a housing including a front side, and rear side, and opposite lateral sides extending between the front and rear sides, a first handle coupled to a first of the lateral sides of the housing, a second handle coupled to a second of the lateral sides of the housing, the first and second handles oriented coaxially along a handle axis, an electric motor positioned within the housing, a percussion mechanism driven by the motor and including a striker supported for reciprocation relative to the housing along a striker axis, and a light source that produces light to illuminate the workpiece. The chisel is configured to deliver repeated axial impacts to the workpiece in response to receiving repeated axial impacts from the striker.
Pavement breaker
A pavement breaker has a housing, a hammer mechanism mounted within the housing, and at least one handle moveably mounted on the housing. The handle(s) can move in a vertical direction when the pavement breaker is orientated in its normal operation orientation. A sensor is mounted within the housing for detecting when the handle(s) is moved towards or at its uppermost position. If the sensor detects such handle position, the hammer mechanism is deactivated.
Electric tool
Provided is an electric tool with which work efficiency can be improved. A controller of an electric tool can execute: a first control, whereby during a non-operating state after a motor has started up and before a tip tool is set to be in an operating state, the motor is driven at a slow idling rotation speed, and when the tip tool is set to be in the operating state, the motor is driven at a normal rotation speed which is higher than the slow idling rotation speed; and a second control, whereby in a case where a trigger switch has been turned off in a state where the motor is being driven at the normal rotation speed and the trigger switch is thereafter turned on again under a prescribed condition, the motor is driven at the normal rotation speed regardless of the state of the tip tool.

Systems, instruments, and methods for operating a surgical instrument. The methods comprising: receiving at least a portion of an external object in a recess of a hollow shank; rotating a first shaft disposed within the hollow shank; using rotation of the first shaft to cause translational movement of a second shaft of the surgical instrument in a first direction away from the first shaft and along a central axis of the surgical instrument; applying a pushing force on the external object using the second shaft that is experiencing the translational movement; and causing translational movement of the second shaft in a second direction opposed from the first direction after the pushing force has been applied to the external object.
Electric motor driven tool for orthopedic impacting
An orthopedic impacting tool comprises a motor, an energy storage chamber, a striker, and an anvil. The motor stores energy in the energy storage chamber and then releases it, causing the striker to apply a controlled force on an adapter to create a precise impact for use in a surgical setting. The tool may further comprise a combination anvil and adapter. The tool further allows forward or backward impacting for expanding the size or volume of the opening or for facilitating removal of a broach, implant, or other surgical implement from the opening. An energy adjustment control of the tool allows a surgeon to increase or decrease the impact energy. A light source and hand grips improve ease of operation of the tool.
Percussion tool
A percussion tool comprises a housing and an electric motor positioned within the housing. The percussion tool further comprises a battery pack supported by the housing for providing power to the motor. The battery pack includes a plurality of battery cells having a nominal voltage of up to 120 Volts. The percussion tool further comprises a percussion mechanism driven by the motor and including a striker supported for reciprocation in the housing. The percussion tool has a ratio of impact energy to mass that is greater than or equal to 2.5 Joules/kilogram.
Hand-Held Power Tool
A hand-held power tool includes an electric motor, a tool unit, and at least one operating unit. A motor switching unit is configured to sense a contact-pressure characteristic between the tool unit and the operating unit, and configured to switch the electric motor at least partially in dependence on the contact-pressure characteristic.
Hand-held power tool
A power tool includes a housing in which a drive unit is arranged, and a tool holder for the detachable holding of a tool insert. The tool insert is configured to be driven percussively and/or rotationally. A sensor unit is configured to detect at least one movement variable, and electronics are configured to control or regulate the power tool. The electronics have a percussion detection unit configured to determine a percussion mode based on at least one movement variable and/or a rotation detection unit configured to determine a rotation of the housing. The electronics control the drive unit based on the determined percussion mode and/or the determined rotation of the housing. The electronics have at least two parameter sets for the percussion detection unit and/or at least two parameter sets for the rotation detection unit. The electronics are configured to select one of the at least two parameter sets.
Dust collecting system
A dust collecting system includes a power tool and a dust collector. The power tool includes at least one battery-mounting part, a first motor, a driving mechanism and a body housing. The at least one battery-mounting part is each configured to removably receive a battery. The first motor is configured to operate with electric power supplied from the battery. The driving mechanism is configured to drive the tool accessory by power of the first motor. The body housing houses the first motor and the driving mechanism. The dust collecting system includes a control device configured to control operation of at least one of the power tool and the dust collector according to a state of the whole dust collecting system.
