Provided is an electric device capable of suppressing vibration of a battery pack. Included are: a first housing 21 accommodating a load portion that consumes electric power; a second housing 22 having one end portion connected to the first housing 21 and another end portion to which a battery pack 9 is connectable; and an elastic member 40 interposed between the first housing and the second housing. The first housing includes a first restricting portion 42 positioned away from the elastic member, and the second housing includes a second restricting portion 44 positioned away from the elastic member and engageable with the first restricting portion. In a case where the second housing is urged to be separated from the first housing, the elastic member is deformed and the first restricting portion and the second restricting portion are engaged with each other to prevent separation.

A secondary battery includes a battery element including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution, a housing member configured to accommodate the battery element, and a safety valve mechanism attached to the housing member. The safety valve mechanism includes a valve member including an opening valve portion configured to be opened; and an opening member including a plurality of opening portions radially arranged in a region opposed to the opening valve portion from a center of the region as a base point, and a plurality of protrusion portions radially arranged in a region outside the plurality of opening portions from the center and the plurality of protrusion portions protrude toward the plurality of opening portions. A number of the opening portions and a number of the protrusion portions are equal to each other, and each of the plurality of opening portions and each of the plurality of protrusion portions are opposed to each other in a direction toward the center.

A secondary battery includes a battery element including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolytic solution, a housing member configured to accommodate the battery element, and a safety valve mechanism attached to the housing member. The safety valve mechanism includes a valve member including an opening valve portion configured to be opened; and an opening member including a plurality of opening portions radially arranged in a region opposed to the opening valve portion from a center of the region as a base point, and a plurality of protrusion portions radially arranged in a region outside the plurality of opening portions from the center and the plurality of protrusion portions protrude toward the plurality of opening portions. A number of the opening portions and a number of the protrusion portions are equal to each other, and each of the plurality of opening portions and each of the plurality of protrusion portions are opposed to each other in a direction toward the center.

A power tool includes an electric motor, an output member selectively driven by the electric motor and a battery receptacle configured to receive a battery. The power tool also includes a switch trigger moveable between a first position and a second position. The switch trigger inhibits electrical communication between the battery and the electric motor while the switch trigger is in the first position. The switch trigger operates a switch to provide electrical communication between the electric motor and the battery while the switch trigger is in the second position. A lock actuator prevents movement of the switch trigger to the second position while the lock actuator is in a locked position, and the lock actuator permits movement of the switch trigger to the second position while in an unlocked position. The lock actuator is biased into the unlocked position while the battery is positioned in the receptacle.

A power tool includes an electric motor, an output member selectively driven by the electric motor and a battery receptacle configured to receive a battery. The power tool also includes a switch trigger moveable between a first position and a second position. The switch trigger inhibits electrical communication between the battery and the electric motor while the switch trigger is in the first position. The switch trigger operates a switch to provide electrical communication between the electric motor and the battery while the switch trigger is in the second position. A lock actuator prevents movement of the switch trigger to the second position while the lock actuator is in a locked position, and the lock actuator permits movement of the switch trigger to the second position while in an unlocked position. The lock actuator is biased into the unlocked position while the battery is positioned in the receptacle.

A work tool includes: a motor; a housing including a gripping part; an electronic switch; a controller controlling the motor based on a signal from the switch; an operating part provided at the gripping part; and an intervening part movably intervened between the operating part and the switch. The switch is provided at the housing at a first position in an axial direction of the gripping part, and is switchable between an ON position for driving the motor and an OFF position for stopping the motor. A direction connecting the ON position and the OFF position to each other is a crossing direction crossing the axial direction. The operating part is movable in the crossing direction to drive and stop the motor. The intervening part transmits movement to the switch by a moving amount smaller than movement in the crossing direction of the operating part passing through the first position.

A work tool includes: a motor; a housing including a gripping part; an electronic switch; a controller controlling the motor based on a signal from the switch; an operating part provided at the gripping part; and an intervening part movably intervened between the operating part and the switch. A working machine may include: a working part; a prime mover configured to drive the working part; a housing supporting the working part; a handle attached to the housing such that the handle is rotatable about a rotation axis with respect to the housing and configured to be grasped by a user; and an elastic member arranged between the housing and the handle. The housing may comprise a first surface. The handle may include a second surface that faces the first surface in a rotation axis direction with an interval therebetween. The elastic member may be arranged between the first surface and the second surface.

A driver drill allows smooth change of the drive conditions of a motor. The driver drill includes a motor, an output unit located frontward from the motor and rotatable with a rotational force from the motor, a trigger lever operable to activate the motor, a forward-reverse switch lever operable to change a rotation direction of the motor, a first operation member operable to change a drive condition of the motor, a second operation member located upward from the first operation member and operable to change the drive condition of the motor, and a controller that sets the drive condition of the motor in response to an operation on at least one of the first operation member or the second operation member.

A driver drill allows smooth change of the drive conditions of a motor. The driver drill includes a motor, an output unit located frontward from the motor and rotatable with a rotational force from the motor, a trigger lever operable to activate the motor, a forward-reverse switch lever operable to change a rotation direction of the motor, a first operation member operable to change a drive condition of the motor, a second operation member located upward from the first operation member and operable to change the drive condition of the motor, and a controller that sets the drive condition of the motor in response to an operation on at least one of the first operation member or the second operation member.
