The hex key holder provides a ready means to affix the hex key caddy to a surface via magnets. The magnetic bond allowing convenient positioning and allowing hex keys to be easily inserted or removed from the hex holder with a single hand. The hex key holder is configured for ease of manufacture in high volumes. The magnets provide a ready means to positively affix the key holder onto a horizontal surface, vertical surface, or other angled surface.
Interchangeable and interconnectable tool organizing device
A custom tool accessory to hold a tool, the custom tool accessory including a body, at least one tongue disposed at a first side of the body, at least one tongue receiving groove disposed at a second side of the body opposite from the first side of the body, and a tool holding portion disposed on the body to hold the tool. At least one magnet is attached to the underside of a metallic base plate that is in turn secured to the underside of the body. A retainer surrounds the at least one magnet and also underlies the area of the bottom of the base plate that is not covered by the at least one magnet.
FRICTION POST SOCKET TOOL HOLDER
A socket organizer for releasably holding socket holders is provided. The organizer has a plurality of friction fit posts onto which sockets are positioned and held securely.
TOOL BOX
A tool box includes a base and a cover which is mounted to the base so as to form a storage room in the tool box. At least one rack is pivotably connected between two facing inside walls of the base. Each rack includes multiple partitions for accommodating bits and accessories. The at least one rack can he pivoted relative to the base so that the users are easily pick the bits and the accessories.
HANDHELD DEVICE CONFIGURED TO TRANSPORT, ORGANIZE, AND/OR STORE ONE OR MORE TOOLS, AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A handheld device configured to transport or store tools can include a back plate having a planar rear surface and an opposing front surface. A top wall can extend outwardly from a first end of the rear surface in a first direction. The top wall can have an interior surface and an opposing exterior surface. A bottom wall can extend outwardly from a second end of the rear surface in the first direction. A handle can extend outwardly from the exterior surface of the top wall in a second direction. The second direction is perpendicular to the first direction. At least two spaced-apart mounting points can each extend outwardly from the front surface in the first direction. Each mounting point can be configured to be inserted into a receptacle of at least one of the tools to attach the at least one of the tools to the handheld device.
Friction post socket tool holder
A socket organizer for releasably holding socket holders has a plurality of friction fit posts onto which sockets are positioned and held securely.
Rotating and removable bit/driver rails
A rail for holding drivable components within a case may include a body in which a plurality of receptacles configured to receive respective ones of the drivable components are formed, and a retention boss at each opposing end of the body. The retention boss may extend away from an end face of the body. The retention boss further includes an alignment slot formed therein. The rail is removable from or insertable into the case, and is rotatable relative to the case, based on alignment of the alignment slot with retention features formed in the case.
TOOL CONTAINER SYSTEM
A tool container system includes a first tool container and a second tool container. The first tool container has a first base, a first cover pivotably attached to the first base by a first hinge portion, a first base locking member coupled to the base, a first cover locking member coupled to the first cover, and a first latch coupled to the first base and moveable between a first unlocked position in which the first cover is movable relative to the first base between a closed position and an open position, and a first locked position in which the first latch engages the first cover locking member and the first cover is locked to the first base in the closed position. The second tool container is stackable on the first cover of the first tool container and having a second locking member. When the second tool container is stacked on the first tool container, the second tool container is lockable to the first tool container when the first latch is moved to the first locked position to engage both the first cover locking member and the second locking member.
FLEXIBLE MAGNETIC SOCKET HOLDER
A flexible magnetic socket holder is disclosed having a flexible elongated strip having a top wall, a bottom wall, a first side wall and a second side wall. The top wall has a plurality of posts each adapted to receive a socket and having an opening on each side of the posts for exposing a magnet. The bottom wall has a retaining member extending downwardly from the bottom wall and adapted to receive the magnet. The first side wall and the retaining member have an opening adapted to receive the magnet and retain the magnet by friction fit. The second side wall is adapted to retain the magnet in the retaining member. The magnet is inserted in the retaining member through the opening in the first side wall and the retaining member. The top wall of the flexible elongated strip is adapted to magnetically hold the sockets at each post and the bottom wall of the flexible elongated strip is adapted to magnetically attach to different shaped ferrous surfaces.
