COMBINATION SCISSORS WITH CUTTING KNIFE
Disclosed herein is a combination scissors and cutting knife such as a multi-purpose utility knife can include a first elongated member. The first elongated member also includes a handle at a first end and a scissor blade section extending therefrom. A first pivotal structure can be arranged between the first end and the scissor blade section. The combination scissors and cutting knife can include a second elongated member which also includes a handle at a first end and a scissor blade section extending therefrom. The second elongated structure can also include a second pivotal structure arranged between the first end and the scissor blade section. The first and second pivotal structures are configured to pivotally couple together. The second elongated structure can also include a cutting knife housing extending from the first end to the scissor blade section. The cutting knife housing can include a retractable cutting knife arranged within the cutting knife housing.
LINEAR MULTITOOL
Various embodiments of substantially linear multitools are disclosed. One embodiment provides multitool having a first handle segment having a first handle portion and a second handle portion, the first handle segment having an internal channel housing a first pivot tool arm, a second handle segment having a third handle portion and a fourth handle portion, the second handle segment having an internal channel housing a second pivot tool arm, a pivot to rotatably couple the first pivot tool arm to the second pivot tool arm to create a pivot tool, wherein the pivot can rotate the first pivot tool arm and second pivot tool arm into a substantially straight arrangement allowing the first handle segment to be collinear with the second handle segment when the multitool is in a closed orientation.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL PLIER
A multifunctional plier may include a first plier unit with a first handle portion, and a second plier unit with a second handle portion. The first handle portion has a rivet at a rear end of the first handle portion to rivetedly connect a first blade and a second blade, which can be received in a receiving space. A third handle portion that drives the second blade to cut is hinged to the non-cutting end of the second blade. It is noted that the third handle portion can rotate toward the second blade to be folded at an opening of the receiving space. The receiving space is large enough to receive the first blade and second blade, so the size of the blade and handle can be increased to endure a larger force and be able to cut a harder and larger object.
Tool having mating plier jaw pairs
A tool is provided in order to facilitate utilization by users in a wide variety of applications. By way of example, a multipurpose tool includes a first handle having a first axle and a second handle having a second axle; a first jaw and a second jaw, defining a stowed position and a deployed position, where in the stowed position the first jaw is received within the second handle and the second jaw is received within the first handle; a third jaw and a fourth jaw, defining a stowed position and a deployed position, where in the stowed position the third jaw is received within the second handle and the fourth jaw is received within the first handle, where the first jaw and fourth jaw are pivotably attached at the second axle, the second jaw and third jaw are pivotably attached at the first axle.
KNIFE WITH A SHEARING ARM
Methods, systems, and devices for a knife with a shearing arm are described. In some instances, a knife may include at least one integrated shearing arm. For example, a knife may include a retractable blade that may be used to perform certain types of tasks such as cutting rope, cutting bate, killing a catch, and the like. Further, the knife may include a cutting shear having a retractable arm for performing different types of operations, such as cutting fishing line. The cutting shear may be integrated into the handle of the knife such that the knife's liner includes a blade (e.g., a first blade of a shear) and the arm includes a second blade (e.g., a second blade of the shear). The arm may be spring loaded or otherwise configured to rotate toward and away from the body of the knife in a shearing motion.
