Stationary blade, blade set, and hair cutting appliance
A hair cutting appliance includes a stationary blade having a first wall portion arranged to serve as a skin facing wall when in operation; and a second wall portion offset from the first wall portion such that the first and second wall portions a guide slot that receives a movable cutter blade. A toothed leading edge is jointly formed by the first and second wall portions. Teeth at the toothed leading edge include a first leg defined by the first wall portion, and a second leg defined by the second wall portion. The first and second wall portions are connected at a frontal end of the toothed leading edge, thereby forming tips of the teeth. The second legs of the teeth are tapered along a portion of their longitudinal extension towards a bottom side of the stationary blade facing away from the skin, when in operation.
Dreadlock grooming device
A dreadlock grooming device including handle, a cylindrical housing attached to the handle, a power source, and a power control. The cylindrical housing includes a first-semi-arcuate-section and a second-semi-arcuate-section together forming a clamp of the cylindrical housing. The cylindrical housing includes a plurality of serrated blades positioned along an interior surface of the cylindrical housing provided to remove stray hairs from a section of hair within the clamp formed by the first-semi-arcuate-section and the second-semi-arcuate-section during use.
Handheld Clippers
A hair clipper apparatus suitable for shaving in wide angles is presented. The hair clipper apparatus contains a handle housing, a clipper head, a motor, a power supply, a power switch, a first movement guide, and a second movement guide. The handle housing contains a head receiver. The clipper head contains a head connector and a shaver head. The motor is positioned within the handle housing. The motor is rotatably mounted to the stator body. The head connector is hingedly connected to the head receiver by the first movement guide. The shaver head is hingedly connected to the head connector, opposite to the shaver head, by the second movement guide. A first rotation axis of the first movement guide and a second rotation axis of the second movement guide is positioned perpendicular to each other. The motor is operatively coupled to the shaver head. The power switch is electrically connected between the power supply and the motor.
HAIR REMOVAL DEVICE
The invention relates to a hair removal device, comprising: a handle having a motor, a cutting head having a blade unit with a first and second blade for cutting hair, said cutting head having a first snap fit connector and a comb attachment releasably attachable to the cutting head, said comb attachment having a second snap fit connector provided to engage by snap fit connection with the first snap fit connector for attaching the comb attachment at the cutting head, wherein, said first snap fit connector is at least one of: formed in a shape to flex, made of a material to flex or supported to flex, so that said first snap fit connector is able to flex when brought into engagement with said second snap fit connector.
HAIR CUTTING KIT
A hair cutting kit comprises a handle, a first trimmer head configured for reversibly releasable attachment to the handle , a second trimmer head configured for reversibly releasable attachment to the handle, and a comb implement comprising at least one row of comb teeth and a mechanical interface operative for reversibly releasable attachment of the comb implement to the first trimmer head and for reversibly releasable attachment of the comb implement to the second trimmer head.
HAIR CUTTING KIT
A hair cutting kit comprises a cutting unit and a comb. The comb comprises a row of comb teeth. Some or all of the comb teeth comprise, on an outer face, a skin surface configured to glide on a user's skin, a feeding surface configured to feed hairs towards the cutting unit, and a transition surface between the skin surface and the feeding surface. The skin surface has a first surface contour line having a first radius of curvature, the feeding surface has a second surface contour line having a second radius of curvature, and the first radius of curvature is greater than the second radius of curvature.
Blade assembly having entrapped spring
A blade assembly for a hair cutting apparatus includes a first blade having teeth extending along a first blade edge, and a second blade having teeth extending along a second blade edge. A distance between the first and second blade edges defines a blade gap. A yoke is coupled to the second blade and configured to convert motion of a drive into reciprocation of the second blade relative to the first blade to cut hair. A spring includes a spring base and at least one spring arm configured to reciprocate with the second blade. A guide assembly includes a guide and a spring retainer, the guide being positioned between the first blade and the second blade, and the spring retainer fixing the spring base relative to the first blade, wherein in response to moving the guide relative to the first blade, the blade gap changes.
Flip-comb mechanism for hair clipper
A flip comb mechanism is provided for a hair clipper having a bladeset including a moving blade reciprocating relative to a stationary blade, the flip comb mechanism includes an attachment comb having at least one comb tooth and a comb base. The flip comb mechanism also includes a mount with a hinged bracket, having a first portion which is attached to the stationary blade, and a second portion which is attached to the comb base, the hinged bracket is configured to pivot the attachment comb between an operational position located against to the stationary blade, and an open position where the attachment comb is rotated away from the stationary blade to clear collected cut hair between the attachment comb and the stationary blade, wherein a hinge of the hinged bracket is proximate the comb base.
A SHAVER HEAD FOR AN ELECTRIC SHAVER
A shaver head (12) for an electric shaver (10) has at least two hair-cutting units (13), each comprising an external cutting member and an internal cutting member which is rotatable relative to the external cutting member, and each supported by a supporting portion (26). The supporting portion is linearly movable under the bias of a spring member (30) relative to a base portion (20) of the shaver head between a first, retracted, position and a second, extended, position. The shaver head has a locking mechanism (30, 32) for selectively locking the supporting portion in a locked position relative to the base portion. This allows a user to select different shaving modes.
HAIR-CUTTING UNIT FOR USE IN A HAIR-CUTTING APPLIANCE
A hair-cutting unit (4) for use in a hair-cutting appliance comprises cutting members (41, 42), a base member (5), and a supporting member (6) which is pivotable relative to the base member (5) and accommodates the cutting members (41, 42). The hair-cutting unit (4) further comprises a holding member (7) which is pivotable relative to the supporting member (6) between a holding position of holding the cutting members (41, 42) in an operational position in the supporting member (6), and a releasing position of releasing the cutting members (41, 42) for removal from the supporting member (6), and a biasing mechanism (8) which is configured to bias the holding member (7) towards the holding position. At least in an opened position of the supporting member (6), pivoting of the holding member (7) out of the holding position is prevented solely by the biasing force of the biasing mechanism (8).
