Quilt binding cutting guide
A quilt binding cutting guide and a method for using it to cut and form low-bulk, angled seams for quilt bindings. The quilt binding generally has a first end and a second end. The cutting guide may comprise a quilt edge line, a right binding cutline, and a left binding cutline, the right binding cutline and the left binding cutline being spaced apart from, and parallel to, each other, and angled with respect to the quilt edge line. To use the guide, a user may position the cutting guide on top of a quilt so that the quilt edge line is directly above a raw edge of the quilt. The user may then use the guide lines on the cutting guide to position and cut the ends of a quilt binding accurately, without measuring or marking.
BISCUIT SLICER
A cutting system includes a chamber for receiving and positioning a biscuit or bread for consistent and uniform cutting. The system gently holds the biscuit in position as a blade cuts the biscuit along a knife guide in the system to produce optimal biscuit portions having strength and stability to hold food stuffs therebetween while being held and eaten by a consumer.
Alignment tool, cutting arrangement and method for treatment of a workpiece
Provided is an alignment tool for a cutting arrangement including a cutting apparatus with a cutting edge for treatment of a workpiece, especially a rotor blade of a wind turbine, in which the alignment tool includes at least one fixation means for fixing the alignment tool to the workpiece and at least one guiding structure to guide the cutting edge of the cutting tool.

Compression/corner-cut box reducer
A box reducer for trimming or reducing the size of a cardboard box is disclosed. The current invention allows an operator to reduce the size of an existing cardboard box after unnecessary material is removed by a knife or a cutter. The current invention improves prior arts in two ways. First, the invention contains a stabilizer which allows itself to travel in a stable way along the top edge of the flaps of the cardboard box while marking a line to be folded to create the cover of the box. Second, instead of using perforation as prior arts do, this invention uses compression to create the line on the flaps of the cardboard box. Then the operator can fold along the line to create the covering flaps, thus, a reduced box.

Bagel and Roll Slicing Guide and Method
A bagel slicing guide includes two narrow horizontal slots in two opposite sides. The guide includes a base and the sides reach up from opposite edges of the base. The slots are in the sides and spaced above and parallel with the base, the slots guiding a knife blade to establish a thickness of a sliced bagel or roll. The slots include at least one enlarged slot end to facilitate entry of a knife blade tip into the slots. The sides are short to provide a compact envelope not requiring very much storage space. The guide may be plastic or a single piece of metal, preferably stainless steel, and more preferably as single piece of stainless steel sheet bent to create the sides.
Multipurpose Woodworking Gauge
A woodworking gauge for use with a boring, drilling or cutting mechanism having a support surface and a cutting implement disposed on and extending through the support surface includes a pair of alignment blocks joined by a pair of connecting rods. The rods are slidably positioned within bores extending through each of the alignment blocks and can be fixed with regard to the alignment blocks by clamps disposed on the blocks. One alignment block includes a channel lock that is engaged with the support surface to secure the alignment block in a stationary position on the support surface. The remaining alignment block includes a cutting implement-engaging insert to be positioned against the boring, drilling or cutting blade. The position of the connecting rods extending past the alignment block engaged with the blade enables a cutting fence to be positioned to achieve the desired depth cut within the material workpiece.
Power operated rotary knife with notched rotary knife blade and trim guide
A power operated rotary knife assembly including a power operated rotary knife having an annular rotary knife blade, a trim guide, and a drive mechanism for driving the rotary knife blade about an axis of rotation. The assembly also includes a portable power unit, a vacuum assembly and a flexible shaft drive transmission coupled between the power operated rotary knife and the portable power unit. The portable power unit includes a drive motor assembly providing a rotational power source which is operatively coupled to the drive mechanism through the flexible drive transmission to rotate the rotary knife blade. The portable power unit also includes a blower assembly providing vacuum pressure at an inlet duct side, the vacuum assembly being in fluid communication with the inlet duct side to generate a vacuum pressure condition in a region of a cutting opening defined by the rotary knife blade and the trim guide.
