The present invention relates to a liquid-state temporary reinforcing material, a preparation method therefor and an application thereof. The liquid-state temporary reinforcing material comprises a reinforcing material and a crystallization inhibitor; the reinforcing material is selected from molecules of any two or more of menthol, menthone, menthol ester and menthol ether, and the content of the crystallization inhibitor is less than 50 ppm. For the liquid-state temporary reinforcing material of the present invention, the menthol and the derivatives of the liquid-state temporary reinforcing material are integrally mixed together to form the composite material for temporary reinforcing, the composite material being liquid and volatilization-controllable at room temperature. Thus, the temporary reinforcing requirements for extracting cultural relics at an archaeology excavation site may be met, and the material is convenient to use.

FINE PARTICLE SIZE BORIC ACID DISPERSION, METHOD OF USE IN ENGINEERED WOOD PRODUCT MANUFACTURE, METHOD OF COATING WOOD PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT THEREFROM
An aqueous boric acid dispersion includes boric acid particles having a median particle size range of less than 44 microns and a solids content of boric acid particles of 50% or greater. The boric acid dispersion also includes an effective amount of at least one viscosity reducing agent such that the boric acid dispersion has an initial Brookfield 2 rpm static viscosity of about 5,000 to about 25,000 centipoise and a three week aged Brookfield 2 rpm static viscosity of less than 250,000 centipoise, an optional amount of an alkali metal base, wherein the alkali metal base/boric acid mole ratio in the boric acid dispersion ranges from zero to about 0.01; and the balance water. The boric acid dispersion can be used in the manufacture of wood products like oriented strand board, medium density fiberboard, and particle board as well as to coat wood products to improve their fire retardancy.

The present invention discloses a one-step integrally-formed bamboo sleeper. For the one-step integrally-formed bamboo sleeper, a bamboo unit is used as a raw material, to be dried and modified at the temperature of 110-180 C., and then subject to adhesive dipping, adhesive throwing, solidification, dopamine solution treatment, anti-mildew and/or anti-corrosion and/or anti-insect treatment, and fastening, to obtain the one-step integrally-formed bamboo sleeper with a density of 0.9-1.5 g/cm.sup.3. The present invention further provides a preparation method for the foregoing bamboo sleeper. The bamboo sleeper prepared in the present invention has a suitable elastic modulus, and applicable for ballasted tracks of railways and urban rail transit systems.

The present invention discloses a one-step integrally-formed bamboo sleeper.
