Method and System for Producing Recycled Fibers for MDF or HDF Production
Recycled fibers are produced from MDF or HDF containing material, for instance for use in MDF or HDF production by steaming (2) the MDF or HDF containing material for a predetermined time to obtain steamed material, subjecting the steamed material to a pulping process (3) to obtain a slurry, screening (4a, 4b) the slurry to remove oversize particles to obtain a screened slurry, dewatering (5) the screened slurry to obtain dewatered fibers and refining or fluffing (6) the dewatered fibers to obtain said recycled fibers. A method for producing MDF or HDF boards using such recycled fibers is also provided. Corresponding systems for producing recycled fibers and producing MDF or HDF boards are also provided.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BIOFUEL BY STEAM CRACKING
A method for producing a biofuel by continuous or discontinuous steam cracking of lignocellulosic biomass, comprises: —recording a digital model of the optimal steam cracking parameters as a function of the typology of the plant constituents of the biomass; —supplying the steam cracking reactor with heterogeneous biomass; —measuring at least once during the treatment the typology of the plant constituents of the biomass; and —controlling the adjustment of the steam cracking parameters as a function of the typology of the plant constituents of the measured biomass and of the digital model.
SHEET MANUFACTURING METHOD AND SHEET MANUFACTURING APPARATUS
A sheet manufacturing method includes forming a web by accumulating a mixture containing a fiber and a water-soluble polysaccharide in a dry manner, a moisture imparting step of imparting the web with moisture, and a pressurizing and heating step of pressurizing and heating the web to which the moisture is imparted, in which the pressurizing and heating step performs pressurizing and heating at the same time, a pressure higher than a pressure applied to the web in the pressurizing and heating step is not applied to the web before the pressurizing and heating step, and heating to a temperature higher than a temperature for heating the web in the pressurizing and heating step is not performed before the pressurizing and heating step.
PROCESSING METHOD FOR WASTE ORIENTED STRAND BOARD, WASTE ORIENTED WOOD CHIPS, AND ORIENTED STRAND BOARD AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to the technical field of resource recycling and provides a processing method for a waste oriented strand board and waste oriented wood chips, and an oriented strand board preparation method thereof. The processing method for a waste oriented strand board provided in the present disclosure includes the following steps: softening a waste oriented strand board to obtain a softened waste oriented strand board; and flaking the softened waste oriented strand board pieces using a disc flaker to obtain waste oriented wood chips. According to the present disclosure, the waste oriented strand board is softened first to be chipped readily. It is specified in the present disclosure that the disc flaker is used such that relatively intact wood chips can be obtained.
SOLIDIFYING COMPOSITION FOR PAPER AND CARDBOARD
The invention relates to an aqueous composition comprising (a) polymers having primary amino groups and/or amidine groups to a combined content for these groups of ≧1.5 meq/g of polymer, and (b) 0.01 to 50 mol % of 1,4-cyclohexanedione (b) based on the combined amount of primary amino groups and amidine groups of the polymers,
wherein the pH of the aqueous composition is ≦6,
and further to its use as strength enhancer and to a method of producing paper and board, employment of the aqueous composition and also the paper and board thus obtained.
Chlorinated poly(propylene carbonate)/biomass composite material and method for preparing the same
The present invention provides a chlorinated poly(propylene carbonate)/biomass composite material, comprising 3 wt % to 57 wt % of a chlorinated poly(propylene carbonate); 40 wt % to 94 wt % of a biomaterial; 2 wt % to 20 wt % of a rosin or a rosin derivative; 0 wt % to 1 wt % of an antioxidant; and 0 wt % to 5 wt % of a filler, wherein a sum of amounts of all components is 100 wt %. The chlorinated poly(propylene carbonate) functions as a binder, and plays an important role in the moisture resistance of the composite material. The rosin or the rosin derivative functions as a viscosifier and a lubricant, and can also improve the moisture resistance and mechanical property of the composite material. Under the synergistic effect of the above components, the composite material obtained in the present invention is excellent in both mechanical property and moisture resistance. Further, because the starting materials comprise a larger amount of biomass materials, the cost thereof is low, and because the starting materials contain no formaldehyde, benzene and the like, the material is environment friendly.
Natural fiber plastic composite precursor material for compounding, method for preparing thereof and method for preparing natural fiber plastic composite product
The present disclosure relates to a natural fiber plastic composite precursor material comprising 80-95% (w/w) cellulosic fibers having an average fiber length less than 1 mm, 3-7% (w/w) coupling agent, 0-7% (w/w) thermoplastic polymer, and 0-1% (w/w) lubricant and/or wax, wherein the material is in form of pellets having a bulk density in the range of 300-700 g/l, and to a method for preparing thereof. The present disclosure also relates to a method for preparing a natural fiber plastic composite product.
BIOMASS CLUMPING MATERIAL AND METHODS
A process for making an animal litter from a woody biomass starting material is described, with the performance amendments substantially located entirely on the outside surface of the woody biomass particles. The process may include the steps of densifying the biomass starting material, crumbling the densified biomass material; screening the densified biomass material for size; optionally adding a zeolite containing a scent; spray coating the sized, densified biomass particles with a surface adhesion agent; and powder dosing the sized, densified biomass particles and zeolites with a performance amendment comprising equal parts bentonite and guar gum.
