A device for configuring deformable material to provide a predetermined relatively non-deformable visual display includes a plurality of configuration blocks for receiving deformable material that ultimately transforms to a relatively non-deformable material, and a key member for aligning and securing together adjacently disposed configuration blocks. Each of the configuration blocks include a plurality of gaps for arcuately disposing the configuration blocks; and an insert member that engages a ridge portion of each configuration block to ultimately configure an edge portion of the deformable material. A base portion of each configuration block ultimately receives deformable material thereupon that is configured to a predetermined design. Arm members of each configuration block and the insert member are manually removed, after the deformable material transforms to a relatively non-deformable material, to expose a predetermined design in the edge portion and the base portion of each configuration block. The combined displays in the edge portions and the base portions of the configuration blocks provide a predetermined relatively non-deformable visual display.

The present inventive concept relates to a mold and a construction panel manufacturing method using same, in which, in order to manufacture a construction panel, a surface on which a raw material is applied is formed into a curved surface by continuously connecting a rope. The mold comprises: first and second side plates facing each other; a curved base forming a predetermined curved surface between the first and second side plates by being interweaved to the first and second side plates; and a sheet member disposed along the curved base so as to form the curved surface, and enabling a construction panel raw material to be applied thereon. Thus, construction panels having variously-shaped curved surfaces may be manufactured by repeatedly using the first and second side plates while differing the interweaving of a rope so as to correspond to a curved surface of a construction panel to be manufactured. Accordingly, the present inventive concept has the effect of having excellent manufacturing efficiency for construction panels having curved surfaces.

A reconfigurable and reusable flexible membrane mold by which architectural panels and the like can be cast into a variety of different sizes and shapes. The membrane mold includes a pair of mirrored sides that are arranged in spaced, opposing alignment so that a gap between the sides can be filled with casting material. Each side of the mold has a flexible forming membrane with a plurality of receiving cups extending therefrom. An array of actuating pins is coupled to each of the forming membranes by way of ball joints standing atop the actuating pins and ball joint connector heads within which the ball joints are received and retained. The ball joint connector heads are received by and embedded within the receiving cups. The flexible forming membranes are responsive to pushing and pulling forces applied thereto by the actuating pin in order to shape the forming membranes.
