Mold Compound Dispensing System and Method
A molding compound dispensing system identifies a semiconductor device strip having a substrate with a plurality of segments allocated for die stacks. The system obtains topological data of the identified semiconductor device strip for each of the segments, including data indicative of any semiconductor components in each respective segment. The system determines an amount of molding compound to be applied to each of the segments based on the topological data for each respective segment, and causes a molding compound dispenser to dispense the determined amounts of molding compound at each of the segments.
SILICONE CONTAINER HAVING A METAL WIRE REINFORCED RIM AND METHOD FOR FORMING
A method for forming a silicone container having a reinforced rim. A layer of adhesive is applied to the outer surface of a metal ring. The adhesive layer is covered with a first plug of unvulcanized silicone. The first plug of unvulcanized silicone is then vulcanized to form a vulcanized silicone covered metal ring. The vulcanized silicone covered metal ring is then inserted into a mold along with a second plug of unvulcanized silicone. The second plug of unvulcanized silicone is then vulcanized so that it binds with the vulcanized silicone covered metal ring to form a silicone container having a reinforced rim. In one preferred embodiment the silicone container having a reinforced rim is a bowl. In another preferred embodiment the silicone container having a reinforced rim is a cup.
WOUND COMPOSITE CORE FOR MOLDED COMPONENTS
An apparatus and a technique related to a composite member of two different composite materials is disclosed. Aspects include a technique which may include forming a first portion using a first composite material and forming a second portion molding a second composite material over the first portion. Aspects further include a millable frac or bridge plug may be created.
RESIN MOLDING APPARATUS AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT
A resin molding apparatus capable of suppressing an occurrence of defects related to resin filling. The resin molding apparatus includes: a molding mold which forms a cavity; a pot which is arranged in the molding mold and is capable of accommodating a resin material, and in which an opening portion opening directly to the cavity is formed; and a plunger which is arranged to be slidable in the pot, and transfers the resin material accommodated in the pot toward the cavity via the opening portion by extruding the resin material. An inner diameter of the opening portion is formed to be the same as an outer diameter of the plunger or larger than the outer diameter of the plunger.
Modular travel warning strip system and methods
A modular highway warning strip system which comprises a modular warning strip segment having first and second ends, a length extending between the first and second ends, two opposing lengthwise sides, a width extending between the opposing lengthwise sides of the segment, top and bottom surfaces, and a thickness. Each of the first and second ends comprise at least one male protrusion and at least one female receptacle, wherein the at least one male protrusion is configured to engage the at least one female receptacle for joining a plurality of the segments together end-to-end. A segmented metallic plate is disposed between upper and lower rubber layers, the segmented plate comprising a plurality of segments separated by slits comprising living hinges.
Method of forming a cured elastomer and articles of the cured elastomer
A cured elastomer golf ball component is made by heating an elastomer compound containing an ethylenically unsaturated elastomer, an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and first and second free radical initiators to a first crosslinking temperature T.sub.1 in a compression mold and partially crosslinking the elastomer, then heating to a second crosslinking temperature T.sub.2 and curing the elastomer component of the golf ball. Either: (i) the first initiator has a half-life of about 0.2-5 minutes at T.sub.1, the second initiator has a half-life of about 0.2-5 minutes at T.sub.2, and T.sub.2 is higher T.sub.1 by at least about 30° C.; or (ii) the second initiator's one-minute half-life temperature is at least about 30° C. higher than the first initiator's one-minute half-life temperature, T.sub.1 is within about 20° C. of the first initiator's one-minute half-life temperature, and T.sub.2 is within about 20° C. of the second initiator's one-minute half-life temperature.
Method of making a sandwich-type, compression-molded, composite component having improved surface appearance
A method of making a sandwich-type, compression-molded, composite component having improved surface appearance is provided. Resin skins and a core of a blank or stack of sandwich materials are heated to a softening temperature of the resin. A compression mold is provided including component-forming, upper and lower dies with opposing molding surfaces cooperating to define a mold cavity. The heated blank or stack is allowed to cool in the mold cavity until inner surfaces of the skins are bonded to top and bottom surfaces of the core to seal core cavities. Air in the sealed cavities urges softened portions of the skins inwardly towards the cavities of the core as the air in the cavities cools. A vacuum is applied at a first outer surface of the blank or stack in the mold cavity sufficient to prevent debossing and improve appearance of the first outer surface.
Sleeper for a track superstructure
The invention relates to a sleeper for the track superstructure, which is manufactured in one piece from a plastic material, with the sleeper having an elongated base shape with two end sections, which are connected by a middle section of the sleeper and held at a distance and on their upper side in each case one contact surface is provided for in each case one rail to be supported on the respective end section with a reinforcement extending in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper being embedded into the middle section. In order to design such a plastic sleeper such that it has optimised strength and can be reliably manufactured even using cost-effective plastic/sand mixtures having a high proportion of sand, the invention proposes that the reinforcement extends over the length of the middle section, that the reinforcement is in each case anchored in the respective end section in an edge region of the end sections assigned to the middle section and in that the reinforcement is wholly or partially arranged in the upper quarter of the height of the sleeper.
Device, method, and jig for manufacturing magnet embedded core
To prevent creation of unnecessary resin when fixing a magnet with resin, a manufacturing method for manufacturing a magnet embedded core comprises: a placing step of placing the rotor core on a mounting table such that an end surface of the rotor core is in contact with the mounting table; a resin charging step of charging the resin in solid state into the magnet insertion hole; a melting step of inciting the resin in the magnet insertion hole; a magnet inserting step of inserting the magnet into the magnet insertion hole; a closure step of closing the opening of the magnet insertion hole remote from the mounting table; and a resin pressurizing step of pressurizing the molten resin that has flowed into a buffer chamber formed in the mounting table from the opening of the magnet insertion hole on a side of the mounting table following the closure step.
