METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEALED STRUCTURE
A method of producing a sealed structure, the method including: preparing a substrate and a curable resin composition in a liquid form; and sealing the substrate with the curable resin composition, to form a sealed body including the substrate and a cured product of the curable resin composition. The sealing step includes: printing the curable resin composition onto the substrate, to cover the substrate with a first coating film of the curable resin composition; and compression-molding the first coating film and the substrate together using a mold, with a pressing surface of the mold abut against the first coating film, to convert the first coating film into a second coating film. A ratio of a projected area S1 of the first coating film onto the substrate to a projected area S2 of the second coating film onto the substrate: S1/S2 is 0.9 or more.
METHOD OF FABRICATING LATEX PRODUCTS
A liquid latex emulsion is compressed to align the randomly arranged molecules to form rows of aligned molecules. A continuous flow of the liquid is created in the direction of the rows of aligned molecules. A first latex layer of rows of aligned latex molecules is created on a form by immersing the form into the continuous flow of compressed liquid at a first immersion angle. A second latex layer is created on the first latex layer, the second latex layer has rows of aligned latex molecules extending in a direction different the rows of aligned latex molecules of the first layer. The second latex layer is formed by immersing the form with the first latex layer into the flow of compressed liquid at an immersion angle different from the first immersion angle.
METHOD OF REDUCING KNIT LINE DURING COMPRESSION MOLDING OF CARBON FIBER SMC FOR COMPLEX 3D STRUCTURAL APPLICATION
A structural automotive sub frame component (10) that is formed from a sheet molding compound having carbon fibers. The three dimensional structure is formed of a resin fiber mixture having a resin material infused with carbon fibers having a length of about 12.5 mm (0.5 inches) dispersed throughout the structural automotive sub frame component (10) and an even manner such that there are no resin rich areas or knit lines present. The absence of knit lines provides a structural automotive sub frame component (10) that has a high degree of flex modulus, tensile strength properties well also providing a greater breaking load property due to the absence of knit lines.
Imprint pattern forming method
An imprint pattern forming method includes contacting a template with a pattern in a front surface with an imprint material formed in a substrate to fill the imprint material into the pattern, curing the imprint material filled in the pattern to form an imprint material pattern, and after forming the imprint material pattern, separating the template from the imprint material pattern while applying pressure to the back surface of the template.
Method of manufacturing fiber substrate and method of manufacturing resin rotator
There is little fluctuation in amount of short fibers among individual products of fiber substrate. No damage is caused to a mold for the fiber substrate. Continuous production of the fiber substrates is possible. A method of manufacturing a fiber substrate includes the steps of: preparing slurry by dispersing short fibers in a dispersion medium; pouring the slurry into a cylindrical mold from above the cylindrical mold, the slurry being directed to a slurry diffusion member disposed in the center of the cylindrical mold and having an upward pointing conical or pyramidal shape; pouring the dispersion medium or water onto the slurry diffusion member from above the slurry diffusion member to cause the short fibers adhering to the slurry diffusion member to fall down, after the step of pouring the slurry; and discharging the dispersion medium from the cylindrical mold to accumulate the short fibers in the cylindrical mold to obtain a fiber aggregate.
Sensor System for Dry Powder Electrode Formation and Methods of Using the Same
Systems and methods of providing powder are disclosed. A system includes a powder hopper, one or more sensors, a feeder hopper and a processor in operable communication with the one or more sensors and the feeder hopper. The powder hopper is configured to provide a powder to a pair of rollers. Each of the one or more sensors is configured to determine a characteristic of the powder in the powder hopper. The feeder hopper is configured to provide the powder to the powder hopper. The processor is configured to cause the feeder hopper to provide the powder to the powder hopper in response to the characteristic of the powder in the powder hopper being less than a threshold.
Method and apparatus for producing a dispensing part of a container, and dispensing part of a container
A method comprises in sequence the steps of: dispensing a continuous polymeric extrudate in a molten state; separating from the continuous extrudate a dose substantially having the shape of a parallelepiped, the dose having a separation surface at which the dose has been separated from the continuous extrudate, the dose further having a face adjacent to the separation surface; conveying the dose towards a mould comprising a first mould part and a second mould part; shaping the dose in the mould by moving the first mould part and the second mould part one towards the other in a moulding direction arranged transversally to said face, thereby obtaining a dispensing part of a container. The dispensing part comprises: an edge zone suitable for being joined to a container body; a neck surrounding a passage through which a product contained in the container can be dispensed; a membrane which closes the passage, the passage being intended to be opened after the shaping step, so that said product can flow out.
METHOD OF PRODUCING THERMOPLASTIC SHEET PRODUCTS AND A CORRESPONDING PRODUCTION LINE
A method and production line are provided for producing sheet products by thermopressing raw materials from thermoplastic plastics and may be used for manufacturing substantially flat products. The method includes thermopressing the raw materials from thermoplastic plastics under pressure to produce in at least one press, and subsequent cooling under pressure of a semi-finished sheet product in at least one other press. A mold with detachable parts may be used, starting from dosing and feeding the raw materials to thermopressing and cooling, and ending with removing a finished sheet product. A production line for producing the sheet products by thermopressing the raw materials from thermoplastic plastics is also provided.
