TEMPERATURE CONTROL DEVICE, TEMPERATURE CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
In a temperature control device, a resin flow channel is formed from a nozzle section and a cylinder section that is connected to the nozzle section and the device controls the temperature of the resin that flows in the resin flow channel. The temperature control device is provided with: a first temperature sensor for detecting the nozzle temperature of the resin flowing through the nozzle section; a first temperature control unit for performing PID control so that the nozzle temperature achieves a first target temperature; multiple second temperature sensors for detecting the cylinder temperature of the resin flowing through the cylinder section; and second temperature control units for performing PID control so that the cylinder temperature achieves a second target temperature. The second temperature control units perform PID control of the cylinder temperature using temperature control information from the first temperature control unit.

An injection molding system comprising: a first selected valve, one or more downstream valves, delivering a fluid to a mold cavity, at least one fluid property sensor that detects a flow front of fluid material flowing downstream through the mold cavity at a trigger location within the cavity disposed between the first gate and at least one selected downstream gate, a controller instructing an actuator associated with the downstream gates to open the gates at a predetermined open gate target time on a first injection cycle, each valve associated with a position sensor that detects opening of a gate at an actual open gate time to the controller, the controller automatically adjusting time of instruction to open the gates on a subsequent injection cycle by an adjustment time equal to any delay in time between the predetermined open gate target time and the actual open gate time.
Methods and apparatuses for injection molding walled structures
A process is provided for making a walled structure using an injection molding apparatus. The apparatus has a molding space formed between a mold cavity and an inner core disposed within the mold cavity. The molding space defines a shape of the structure. The process includes injecting molding material into the molding space, moving or retaining a portion of a movable impression member protruding from the inner core within a portion of the molding space so as to create a recess within an inner wall of the structure, and retracting the impression member into the inner core such that the impression member is cleared from the molding space. Precision control in forming the impression member is provided by a closed-loop configuration using a sensor that measures a molding space parameter (e.g., temperature), optionally in combination with a servo drive for activating the impression member.

MOULD TOOL, METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A MOULD TOOL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE USING A MOULD TOOL
A mould tool (100) is provided which has a multipart mould layer assembly (200; 300; 400; 500; 600) which may either be formed from a carrier (202; 302; 402; 502) and an insert (206; 306; 406; 506) defining a mould profile, or a mould face component (602; 702) having a plurality of stackable blocks (630, 632, 634) which can be assembled to form a mould layer.
RESIN TEMPERATURE DETECTING DEVICE FOR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINE
This resin temperature detecting device for an injection molding machine detects the temperature of resin (12) flowing through a resin flow passage (11) in an injection molding machine provided with a nozzle part (1) having the resin flow passage (11). A heat sensing part (SP) of a temperature sensor (10) is provided at a heat sensing position in the vicinity of a leading end part (N) of the resin flow passage (11) in the nozzle part (1), the leading end part being the portion of the resin flow passage (11) where the inner diameter is smallest.
