HARDENING METHOD AND APPARATUS, PARTICULARLY APPLICABLE TO METAL AND/OR CERAMICS
Apparatus and method for hardening a paste within walls of a mold, comprises a sealing hood that opens to a first position allowing paste to be applied within the mold and then closes to provide an airtight seal around the mold and the paste applied within the mold. Then a vacuum source evacuates air from the sealing hood in its closed position to apply a vacuum to the paste. The vacuum causes liquids to evaporate from the paste, and thus hardens the paste.
Assembly for manufacturing a turbine engine blade
An assembly for manufacturing a wax moulding of a turbine engine blade has a wax injection mould in which a core is able to be mounted in a predetermined moulding position, the core including a main element and at least a first secondary element each including at least one functional part and a non-functional part, wherein the non-functional part of the first secondary element includes a rod portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the blade and housed in a first slot of the non-functional part of the main member, the mould including a first internal boss clamping said rod portion at the bottom of the first slot.
Method and apparatus for forming a leveled surface of pasty masses
An apparatus and a method for forming a leveled surface of at least one pasty mass in a mold are described. Thereby, the mold is particularly adapted to mold lipstick mines, wherein the mold was filled with the pasty mass and the pasty mass was at least partially cooled in the mold. The apparatus comprises a means for at least partially melting the surface of the at least one cooled pasty mass in the mold to level the surface by heat introduction, wherein the heat introduction takes place via focused optical photo emission.
Adaptive Writing Utensil
A writing utensil adapted for promoting the development of a tripod writing grip includes an elongate body having a substantially polygonal cross section, and having three faces extending between a proximal end and a distal end thereof, and a boss member extending from an intermediate portion of the elongate body, the boss member being adapted for impeding a user's fingers from sliding along a longitudinal axis of the elongate body.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A NEGATIVE SKIN, AND TOOL
The present invention relates to a method for producing a negative skin and a tool. Such a tool can be used, for example, in the automotive industry.
Automated crayon melting and molding device, method, and system
Embodiments of the invention are directed to an automated crayon-molding device comprising a crayon-receiving member, an automated heating element, a crayon-melting chamber that is heated to a melting temperature by the automated heating element, and at least one mold. The crayon-receiving member receives the crayon at one end and has a closure mechanism at another held, preventing the crayon from entering in the crayon-melting chamber until it reaches a melting temperature. Once the inside of the crayon-melting chamber, the crayon melts and drips into a mold configured to receive melted wax. Embodiments of the invention also include a method for assembling an automated crayon-molding device and a system for molding crayons that includes a crayon-receiving member, an automated heating element, a crayon-melting chamber, a drawer positioned underneath the crayon-melting chamber, and at least one mold.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING ELECTRIC CANDLES OR THEIR COMPONENTS
Various processes and compositions for producing wax or wax-like shells for electric candles and other lighting devices are described. Preferred processes utilize injection molding to produce the shells from a mixture of materials. The materials may be compounded before being heated and injected.
Method and system for dispensing molten wax into molds by means of a desktop apparatus
Method and system for dispensing molten wax into molds by means of a desktop apparatus is disclosed. The invention being comprised of a heating chamber, temperature controller, metering dispenser, adjustable base, lighting strip and protective viewing cabinet. Said invention allowing wax to be melted and maintained at a temperature below the melting point of mold materials such as; but not limited to, filaments commonly used in 3D printing and the like. An object of the invention is to allow users to quickly position and fill custom molds for fabrication processes such as candle and jewelry making.
Moulding process
The invention is directed to a method of forming a molded item said method comprising the steps of (a) providing a mold former comprising an indentation having an inner surface and a bottom face and made of plastics and manufactured by a 3-dimensional printing process, said mold former being shaped to form a mold having (i) an indentation corresponding to the desired shape of said molded item; and (ii) a series of holes extending between the inner surface and the bottom face of the mold former, (b) forming a mold in said mold former from a plastics material; (c) positioning an elongate member in said mold; (d) introducing a volume of liquid into said indentation; (e) positioning a cover over said mold and sealing it thereto; (f) causing said liquid to solidify.
