The present invention relates to a polyvinyl acetal resin film, comprising a polyvinyl acetal resin material, wherein the polyvinyl acetal resin film has a thickness of 5 to 350 μm, and satisfies the following Formulae (1) and (2) where, comparing one surface and the other surface, a mean value of the 10-point average roughness of a rougher surface A and a mean value of the 10-point average roughness of a smoother surface B are defined as Rz1(a) μm and Rz2(a) μm, respectively:

The present invention relates to a polyvinyl acetal resin film, comprising a polyvinyl acetal resin material, wherein the polyvinyl acetal resin film has a thickness of 10 to 350 μm, one surface has a 10-point average roughness Rz value of less than 2 μm and a friction angle of larger than 31° but 40° or smaller, the other surface has a 10-point average roughness Rz value of 2 μm to 7 μm and a friction angle of 20° to 31°, a viscosity of a toluene/ethanol (1:1, mass ratio) solution containing 10%-by-mass of a polyvinyl acetal resin contained in the polyvinyl acetal resin material, which is measured at 20° C. and 30 rpm using a Brookfield-type (B-type) viscometer, is 100 to 1,000 mPa.Math.s, and the amount of a plasticizer in the polyvinyl acetal resin film is 0 to 20% by mass based on a total mass of the polyvinyl acetal resin film.

The present invention aims to provide an interlayer film for a laminated glass having recesses in the shape of engraved lines on both surfaces to exhibit excellent deaeration properties in production of a laminated glass and suppressing formation of a moire pattern when unwound from a rolled body thereof. The present invention also aims to provide a laminated glass including the interlayer film for a laminated glass, a method for producing an embossing roll suitably used for production of the interlayer film for a laminated glass, and a method for producing the interlayer film for a laminated glass. The present invention relates to an interlayer film for a laminated glass, having a large number of recesses on both surfaces, the recesses each having a groove shape with a continuous bottom and being regularly adjacent and parallel to each other, the interlayer film having a glossiness on a surface with the large number of recesses measured in conformity with JIS Z 8741-1997 of higher than 3% or a haze value measured in conformity with JIS K 7105-1981 of 87% or lower.
METHOD OF THERMOFORMING MULTILAYER POLYMER FILM AND ARTICLES
A method of thermoforming is described. The method comprises providing a multilayer polymer film comprising at least one first thermoplastic polymer layer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) greater than 60° C. and at least one second polymer layer; and thermoforming the multilayer polymer film into a three-dimensional shape. The second polymer layer can be characterized by one or more properties selected from i) a Tg ranging from 20 to 70° C.; ii) a molecular weight between crosslinks of no greater than 20,000 g/mole; and iii) sufficient crosslinking such that the second polymer layer lacks a thermal melt or softening transition at a temperature up to the decomposition temperature of the second polymer layer. Also described are multilayer films and articles, such as orthodontic aligner and retainer trays.
BIODEGRADABLE MULTI-LAYER FILM

Presently described are methods of making an article comprising providing a structured film (1100) comprising a thermoformable planar base (212) layer and a structured surface (116, 216) layer disposed on a major surface (1200) of the planar base (212) layer wherein the structured surface (116, 216) layer comprises a different organic polymeric material than the thermoformable planar base (212) layer, and thermoforming the structured film (1100) into a thermoformed article (1000).
