An absorbent sheet (10) for pets includes a topsheet (12), a backsheet (14), an absorber (20) provided between the topsheet and the backsheet, a functional (40) material, and a recess (50)that is recessed in a direction from the topsheet toward the backsheet. The functional material (40) is provided at a position of the recess (50).
OPTICAL FUNCTIONAL FILM FOR HEAD-UP DISPLAY, OPTICAL LAMINATE, FUNCTIONAL GLASS, AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to an optical functional film for a head-up display, having two or more slow axis zones different in slow axis angles in the same plane, wherein a maximum difference between slow axis angles is more than 5° and less than 30°.
LAMINATED GLASS FOR VEHICLE, AUTOMOBILE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LAMINATED GLASS FOR VEHICLE
Laminated glass for vehicle includes a region with a breaking stress measured by a method described in ISO 1288-5 (2016) of 100 MPa or more and 600 MPa or less. A percentage of the region is greater than or equal to 90% of a see-through region.
Non-woven backing for press felt, method for producing non-woven backing, and press felt
A press felt is provided including a non-woven base fabric material formed of a first fabric structure, with the first fabric structure including an array of MD yarns connected with at least one layer of a hot melt adhesive web material and at least one layer of a non-woven backing. The non-woven backing includes a layer of a first yarn system and a layer of a second yarn system oriented transverse to the first yarn system. At least one of the first and second yarn systems includes a low melt temperature adhesive that is heat activated and binds the first and second yarn systems together. The nonwoven base fabric material has an MD length and CD width and is arranged in two superimposed layers joined by the MD oriented yarns at CD oriented fold regions at each of two opposing ends thereof.
COMPOSITE ARTICLES PROVIDING FLAME RETARDANCY AND NOISE REDUCTION
A thermoplastic composite article comprising a porous core layer and an open cell skin disposed on a first surface of the core layer is described. The composite article comprises a noise reduction coefficient of at least 0.5 as tested by ASTM C423-17 and a flame spread index of less than 25 and a smoke development index of less than 150 as tested by ASTM E84 dated 2009.
Reinforced non-woven fabric, assembly including such a fabric, and method for treating a non-woven fabric
A non-woven sheet (10) comprises at least one zone of reinforcement (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d) in which fibers and/or filaments constituting the sheet are bonded together in a reinforcing pattern (22) comprising a plurality of geometric shapes (24), the zone of reinforcement extending over the entire length (L) of the sheet measured in the longitudinal direction (X1), and over a width (l1, l2) strictly less than the width (l) of the sheet (10) measured in a lateral direction (Y1) orthogonal to the longitudinal direction (X1). The sheet (10) thus further comprises at least one non-reinforced zone (30a, 30b). Because of the bonding between the fibers and/or filaments, the elongation of the reinforced zone (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d) under the effect of a given force exerted in a longitudinal direction of the sheet (10) is less than the elongation of the non-reinforced zone under the effect of the same force. Such a sheet (10) may be used in particular for fabricating a laminated assembly.
Patterned apertured webs
A patterned apertured web is disclosed. The patterned apertured web includes a plurality of land areas in the patterned apertured web and a plurality of apertures defined in the patterned apertured web. At least some land areas of the plurality of land areas surround at least some apertures of the plurality of apertures. The patterned apertured web has an Effective Open Area in the range of about 3% to about 30%, according to the Aperture Test herein. The plurality of apertures include a first set of apertures defining a first shape and a second set of apertures defining a second shape. The first shape is positioned within the second shape.
Acoustic fibrous decoupler
Moulded three-dimensional noise attenuating trim part for a vehicle, comprising at least a three layer system consisting of a first porous fibrous layer and a second porous fibrous layer and an air permeable intermediate film layer situated between the first and second porous fibrous layers and wherein the adjacent surfaces within the three layer system are interconnected, wherein the second porous fibrous layer has an area weight AW2 that is varying over the surface and wherein at least for areas of the three layer system with a total thickness t between 5 and 35 mm, the area weight AW2 relates to the total thickness t of the three layer system as following 25*t+175<AW2<45*t+475 wherein t is in mm and AW2 is in g.Math.m−2 and wherein the area weight AW2 of the second porous fibrous layer is increasing with increasing total thickness t of the three layer system.
Acoustic fiber silencer
An acoustic fiber silencer for a motor vehicle includes a first sound absorbing layer and a second sound insulating layer. The layers are formed of lightweight fibrous material, and the sound insulating layer is quilted. The acoustic fiber silencer includes a frame to which the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers are secured. The frame provides structural support and shape to the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers. The acoustic fiber silencer is lightweight while maintaining excellent noise attenuation properties.
