Anilox patterns and doctor blades for metering high viscosity pigmented inks
A chamber blade system maximizes ink flow at an anilox doctor blade by including a heating element adjacent the doctor blade to heat ink adjacent the blade. The heating element may be a heat strip next to an anilox doctor blade that heats the ink adjacent the doctor blade and temporarily reduces the ink viscosity to improve the flow of ink in the vicinity of the blade. Doctoring blades with a ceramic tip coating may be configured to allow a small amount of controlled ink flow through that can wet the lands thereby reducing the hydrodynamic back pressures and friction when trying to force the ink into anilox cells.

Imprint apparatus and imprint method
An imprint apparatus according to one embodiment includes a contact processing unit and a defect determination unit. The contact processing unit brings a template pattern formed on a front surface of a template into contact with resist placed on a substrate. The defect determination unit determines a defect in an imprint process, on the basis of force which is generated from at least one of the template, the resist, and the substrate, during the imprint process.

An imprint apparatus according to one embodiment includes a contact processing unit and a defect determination unit. The contact processing unit brings a template pattern formed on a front surface of a template into contact with resist placed on a substrate. The defect determination unit determines a defect in an imprint process, on the basis of force which is generated from at least one of the template, the resist, and the substrate, during the imprint process.
PRINTING DEVICE AND PRINTING METHOD BASED ON DIGITAL PRINTING
A printing device based on digital printing and a printing method based on digital printing are disclosed, wherein the printing device comprises a rack and a platen, wherein the rack is provided with a plurality of functional zones, the functional zones comprise a feeding zone, an underpainting printing zone, a pattern printing zone and an unloading zone; the platen is used for placing a medium to be printed, and is transferred among the feeding zone, the underpainting printing zone, the pattern printing zone and the unloading zone to achieve a continuous printing process. Therefore, only a digital printing device is needed to complete the underpainting and pattern printing, without incorporating a silk net printing machine and an ink jet printing machine, which is advantageously saving the enterprise cost, omitting a step of materials transferring among different equipment, and improving the production efficiency.

Imprint method, imprint apparatus, and article manufacturing method
The imprint method includes changing the position of a detector that detects an alignment mark formed on a shot on a substrate; bringing a pattern formed on a mold into contact with an imprint material supplied on the shot on the substrate; and detecting the alignment mark using the detector after completion of the change in the position of the detector. Here, the contacting is started prior to completion of the change in the position of the detector.
