Food product printer
A printer and corresponding method of printing an image on a surface of a plurality of food products by providing a system having a printer with an extendable and retractable receiving arm and a rotating food product delivery tray for continuously and automatically providing delivery of unprinted food products which are retracted into the printer, printed on, and returned by the receiving arm to the rotatable delivery tray and the tray further moves to deliver subsequent food products for printing.
Pressure control unit and method of drying the same
To reduce the amount of a liquid that remains in a boundary portion between a pressure receiving plate and a flexible member. Provides is a pressure control unit including a pressure chamber configured, at least a part of a wall forming the pressure chamber being formed of a flexible member; a flow inlet; a flow outlet; a pressure receiving plate, which is provided on an inner surface of the flexible member, and is to be displaced toward an inner side and an outer side of the pressure chamber; a valve member configured to open and close the flow inlet in accordance with the displacement of the pressure receiving plate; and an internal flow passage, which extends in a boundary portion between the pressure receiving plate and the flexible member along the inner surface of the flexible member, and is opened on a side surface of the pressure receiving plate.
INKJET PRINTER
A printer includes an ink head including a nozzle, a damper connected with the ink head, a pressure sensor to detect a damper pressure in the damper, a cap attachable to the ink head so as to cover the nozzle, an upward/downward moving mechanism to move the cap upward and downward with respect to the ink head, a suction pump connected with the cap, and a controller. The controller is configured or programmed to include a suction controller to execute a suction process to drive the suction pump in a state where the cap is attached to the ink head, a pressure acquisition controller to acquire the damper pressure from the pressure sensor during the suction process, and an upward/downward movement controller to control the cap to move upward toward the ink head when a change amount of the damper pressure is no larger than a reference change amount.
Drop-on-demand card printer with ink tray
A drop-on-demand plastic card printer includes a tray disposed underneath the plastic card during drop-on-demand printing to catch any overspray that may occur during printing on the plastic card. The tray may be disposable so that the tray is intended to be removed and disposed of. An ink absorbent pad can be disposed in the tray to absorb the oversprayed ink. The ink absorbent pad can be disposed of along with the tray or disposed of separately from the tray.
Liquid ejecting apparatus and controlling method for the same
There is provided a liquid ejecting apparatus including: a head having a nozzle; a carriage; a receiver; and a controller. The controller is configured to execute: a first flushing processing; a second flushing processing including at least one of a discharge flushing driving and a non-discharge flushing driving of driving; and a printing processing. The first flushing processing is executed in a case that a first count value is not less than a first threshold value, the first count value being an elapsed time since a completion of the first flushing processing. The second flushing processing is executed in a case that a second count value is not less than a second threshold value, the second count value being an elapsed time since a completion of the printing processing.
PRINTING APPARATUS
A printing apparatus includes: a recording head, discharging ink to a recording medium; a roller, having an outer circumferential surface provided for ink idly discharged from the recording head to be attached; a motor, rotating the roller in a predetermined direction; and a scraper, provided to scrape off the ink attached to the outer circumferential surface of the roller in a state in which the roller rotates in the predetermined direction. The scraper has: a recessed surface making surface contact with the outer circumferential surface of the roller; and a notch part formed at an end of the recessed surface, making line contact with the outer circumferential surface of the roller, and recessed in a substantially shape along a rotation direction of the roller and from the end of the recessed surface toward another end.
LIQUID ABSORBER AND PRINTING APPARATUS
A liquid absorber of the present disclosure includes: a first base material; a second base material; and an absorption layer provided between the first base material and the second base material, in which the first base material and the second base material both contain a flame-retardant filament nonwoven fabric, and a content of a flame retardant in the absorption layer is less than 10% by mass.
PRINTING DEVICE FOR PRINTING A SURFACE, AND METHOD FOR CHANGING PRINTING INKS IN A PRINTING DEVICE
The invention relates to a printing device (10) for printing a surface (12), in particular the surface (12) of a workpiece (11) made at least partly of wood, a wood material, synthetic material, composite material or the like, comprising an ink supply device (17) which has at least two ink containers (21), each holding a printing ink (19), and an ink feed system (24) by means of which the printing inks (19) can be supplied to at least one print head (18), in order to carry out a printing process with at least one of the printing inks (19), wherein a flushing device (32) is provided, by means of which at least the ink feed system (24) and/or the at least one print head (18) can be flushed with a flushing liquid (33) for a printing ink change, and to a method for changing printing inks (19) in a printing device (10).
Liquid absorber, liquid-absorbing sheet, liquid absorbent, and image-forming apparatus
A liquid absorber includes a container and an absorbing unit. The container has an opening and collects a liquid. The absorbing unit is an assembly of porous absorbent blocks, each containing fibers and a polymeric absorbent, and is in the container with spaces between the porous absorbent blocks. Each of the porous absorbent blocks has a first component and a second component. The first component is porous and has a density of 0.05 [g/cm.sup.3] or more and 0.50 [g/cm.sup.3] or less. The second component has a higher polymeric absorbent content than the first component.
MIST COLLECTING UNIT, AND AN INKJET PRINTING APPARATUS HAVING SAME
A mist collecting unit for collecting a mist of ink droplets. The mist collecting unit includes the following elements. An introduction pipe, a mist introducing box with the introduction pipe mounted to have an upper part open, and a collecting box attached to a lower part of the mist introducing box. The gas is introduced from the introduction pipe into the collecting box, thereby capturing the mist included in the gas by inner surfaces of the collecting box.
