RECORDING DEVICE, AND CONTROL METHOD FOR RECORDING DEVICE
A recording device including a medium support portion for supporting a medium, a recording unit for recording on the medium, a movement unit configured to move relative to the medium support portion along a first axis, and a detector attached to the movement unit.
RECORDING APPARATUS
A maintenance section configured to perform maintenance on a recording section includes a first guided section, which is guided by the guide unit, and a second guided section, which is positioned in a first movement direction, is a direction from the retreat position toward the maintenance position with respect to the first guided section, and is guided by the guide unit, when the maintenance section moves from the maintenance position in the first movement direction, the guide unit is configured to allow pivot accompanied by separation of the second guided section from the guide unit, which is pivot of the maintenance section with the first guided section as a pivot axis, and the first guided section is configured to separate from the guide unit, by moving in the first movement direction after the pivot of the maintenance section is allowed.
Printing apparatus with modular printhead system
A single pass inkjet printer that utilizes a modular printing system with one or more self-contained printing modules, where each printing module is easy to remove and replace from a large printing machine, thus resulting in an overall system that is easy to service and maintain. Each module is a self-contained printer including an ink supply, printhead drive electronics, and printhead assembly in order to provide one color or fluid of inkjet printing capability. Each module includes a precise three-point compliant self-aligning mount system to obtain accurate printhead positioning, and a unique integrated printhead tending system that includes a compact movable vacuum knife for cleaning the printheads, and a printhead capping station for sealing and protecting the printheads from the ambient environment when not in use.

LIQUID DISCHARGING APPARATUS
A liquid discharging apparatus includes a liquid discharging head that discharges a liquid onto a medium, a wiping mechanism that wipes a liquid discharging surface of the liquid discharging head and has a wiper portion that moves along an axis that is along the liquid discharging surface and wipes the liquid discharging surface, and an electric portion that is a portion related to controlling the liquid discharging apparatus includes at least one circuit substrate, in which a first direction along the axis the intersects a surface of the circuit substrate, and in the first direction, at least a part of the electric portion overlaps a part of the wiping mechanism.
METHOD FOR PREHEATING SUBSTRATE TREATING APPARATUS AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR THE SAME
Disclosed are a method for preheating a substrate treating apparatus capable of shortening a preheating time and simultaneously performing a maintenance operation, and a computer program for the same. The method includes setting a parameter related to preheating of a preheating target component among components constituting the substrate treating apparatus; and preheating the preheating target component based on the set parameter, wherein a movement range of the preheating target component is limited to a value within a movable range.
Apparatus for distributing load and system for treating substrate with the apparatus
Provided are a load distribution apparatus capable of efficiently distributing loads for a plurality of inkjet head modules and a substrate treatment system including the same. The load distribution apparatus includes a second support formed to be elongated in one direction and having both side portions higher than a central portion and in which a head module for discharging droplets onto a substrate is installed in the central portion, a first support supporting the second support on at least one side and supporting the second support below the second support, a first support unit supporting the second support on at least one side and supporting the second support above the second support, and a plate installed above the first support unit and connected to the first support unit, wherein a load of the head module is distributed by the first support and the first support unit.
SYSTEM FOR REMOVING CONDENSATE FROM PRINTHEAD
A printing device includes: an inkjet printhead having a row of ink ejection devices; a lift mechanism configured for raising and lowering the printhead between a maintenance position and a printing position; a conveyor tape positioned below the printhead in the printing position, the conveyor tape defining a slot aligned with the row of ink ejection devices; and a tape movement mechanism for moving the tape longitudinally along the length of the printhead. The tape movement mechanism is configured to move the tape along the printhead during printing, thereby conveying condensate accumulated on an underside of the tape away from the printhead.
Method of removing printhead cartridge from print module
A method of removing a printhead cartridge from a print module includes the steps of: rotating a first wing lever to effect linear sliding movement of a first ink coupling of the print module away from the printhead cartridge; rotating a second wing lever to effect linear sliding movement of a second ink coupling of the print module away from the printhead cartridge; and removing the printhead cartridge from the print module. The first and second wing levers each has an axis of rotation perpendicular to a direction of linear sliding movement of the first and second ink couplings.
