A hanger for hanging a binder containing loose-leaf pages in a hanging drawer system has first and second opposed hooks configured to be secured to a notebook spine. First and second arms are moveable relative to the hooks between extended and retracted positions. The arms have support surfaces that extend laterally beyond the hooks in the extended position and lips that are spaced from the hooks in the extended position. A method of hanging a notebook in a drawer includes moving the arms to the extended position and placing the support surfaces of the arms on the rails of the hanging drawer system so the rails support the notebook.

An electronically addressable a-polar document receptacle identification circuit has first and second terminals adapted to be connected to a two conductor data bus for supplying data signals to the terminals and for receiving responses from the circuit. The circuit has a two phase diode bridge circuit with first and second nodes connected to the first and second terminals. The diode bridge circuit is connect to the data signal input of a circuit microcontroller having an output connected to the first and second nodes for furnishing response signals to the nodes. The associated receptacle can be a file folder removably received in a file cabinet or a notebook binder removably received on a cabinet shelf. The circuit will function correctly regardless of the orientation of the terminals with respect to the data bus conductors so a file folder or a notebook binder can be installed in either one of two possible orientations without affecting the functionality of the circuit.

The circuit will function correctly regardless of the orientation of the terminals with respect to the data bus conductors so a file folder or a notebook binder can be installed in either one of two possible orientations without affecting the functionality of the circuit.

A picture frame is provided and includes a body having a front surface and a rear surface. Also included in the picture frame are at least one frame attachment member attached to the rear surface of the body, at least one picture insertion sheet having a pocket configured to hold a picture in the pocket, and at least one sheet attachment member attached to near an outer periphery of each picture insertion sheet. Each picture insertion sheet is removably attached to the rear surface of the body using the at least one frame attachment member and the at least one sheet attachment member.

A picture frame is provided and includes a body having a front surface and a rear surface. Also included in the picture frame are at least one frame attachment member attached to the rear surface of the body, at least one picture insertion sheet having a pocket configured to hold a picture in the pocket, and at least one sheet attachment member attached to near an outer periphery of each picture insertion sheet. Each picture insertion sheet is removably attached to the rear surface of the body using the at least one frame attachment member and the at least one sheet attachment member.

A binder comprising: (a) a front cover; (b) a rear cover; (c) a spine extending between and connecting the front cover and the rear cover, the spine being made of a different material than the front cover and the rear cover; and (d) a binder mechanism; wherein the spine is a reinforced polymer that is sufficiently flexible to allow the front cover, the rear cover, or both to move relative to the spine so that the front cover, the rear cover, or both are openable and closeable.

A binder comprising: (a) a front cover; (b) a rear cover; (c) a spine extending between and connecting the front cover and the rear cover, the spine being made of a different material than the front cover and the rear cover; and (d) a binder mechanism; wherein the spine is a reinforced polymer that is sufficiently flexible to allow the front cover, the rear cover, or both to move relative to the spine so that the front cover, the rear cover, or both are openable and closeable.

A binding tool for paper sheets includes a base member extending in a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of first binding members and second binding members each having a base end portion formed protruding outward in a width direction from the base member and a tip end portion integral with the base end portion and curved inward in the width direction so as to be movable between a binding position where the tip end portions contact each other and an open position where the tip end portions are separated from each other by a prescribed distance. The base end portions are positionally displaced from each other by at least an amount corresponding to a thickness TH of the base end portion in the longitudinal direction when the tip end portions positioned facing each other in the width direction are in contact with each other in the binding position.

A binding tool for paper sheets includes a base member extending in a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of first binding members and second binding members each having a base end portion formed protruding outward in a width direction from the base member and a tip end portion integral with the base end portion and curved inward in the width direction so as to be movable between a binding position where the tip end portions contact each other and an open position where the tip end portions are separated from each other by a prescribed distance. The base end portions are positionally displaced from each other by at least an amount corresponding to a thickness TH of the base end portion in the longitudinal direction when the tip end portions positioned facing each other in the width direction are in contact with each other in the binding position.

A bound component has a front cover attached to a spine attached to a rear cover, a binding mechanism, and a binder extension attached to either cover. The binder extension folds inwardly in its closed position and has pockets. Also disclosed is a bound component having a front cover attached to a spine attached to a rear cover, a binding mechanism and one or more pockets attached to either cover. The pocket may have one or more closure flaps and may be expandable. Also disclosed is a folder having one or more bound edges and one or more free edges, one or more folder tabs extending from one or more free edges, and a plurality of pages bound to the folder. The pages may be bound to the folder using adhesive, string, staples or other attachment mechanisms. The folder may fit within a traditional file drawer.
