The slotted ruler may include a plurality of widthwise and lengthwise lines that form different sized rectangles and squares located above and below the slot for measuring. The lines may be spaced at fractional metric or imperial intervals. The slotted ruler may further include a plurality of hatch marks. The slotted ruler may further include a set of at least the numbers one, two, three and four spaced 1 centimeter or 1 inch apart located above the slot, an aligned set of numbers located below the slot, as well as an offset set of numbers.

The slotted ruler may include a plurality of widthwise and lengthwise lines that form different sized rectangles and squares located above and below the slot for measuring. The lines may be spaced at fractional metric or imperial intervals. The slotted ruler may further include a plurality of hatch marks.
