The decorative vapor deposition sheet of an embodiment of the present disclosure is a decorative vapor deposition sheet including a cover resin layer and a metal vapor deposition layer, in which the cover resin layer has a thickness of approximately 50 micrometers or greater, the metal vapor deposition layer exhibits a granular structure, a breaking elongation of the decorative vapor deposition sheet at 20° C. is approximately 120% or greater, and a breaking elongation of the decorative vapor deposition sheet at 160° C. is approximately 350% or greater.

It is desirable that the fine line of the second printing layer has a width of 0.1 mm to 0.25 mm.

A plurality of design cutouts may be printed on a single sheet of material, and the design cutouts then cut out of the sheet. The design mount may also provide an artwork holder, having a shape that matches the shape of the design cutout. The inner perimeter of the holder may be about 1 mm smaller than the outer perimeter of the design cutout. The artwork holder may be heated, and the design cutout secured within the holder while the holder is heated. The holder then cools, providing a tight fit of the design cutout within the artwork holder.

In an exemplary embodiment, a race car comprises a protected graphics assembly that comprises: optionally, at least one adhesive layer; at least one outwardly exposed polymer layer that is essentially free of low surface energy materials; and at least one graphics layer substantially protected from exterior exposure by the polymer layer.

A first portion of the first press plate is composed of a permeable material to remove at least one of gas or vapor from the panel to deter the at least one of gas or vapor from exerting a pressure on a decorative layer to be coupled to the panel to deter separation of a portion of the decorative layer from the panel.
