A bicycle having a widened rear wheel preferably includes an existing bicycle, a double tire rear wheel, a widened crank tube, a widened crank and widened rear fork. The existing bicycle includes a bicycle frame, a front wheel, handlebars, and a seat. The bicycle frame includes a frame unit and a crank set. The frame unit includes a base frame portion, a front fork and a rear fork. The base frame portion includes a top tube, a seat tube, a down tube and a crank tube. The crank tube is replaced with the widened crank tube. The rear fork is replaced with a widened rear fork. A crank of the crank set is replaced with the widened crank. The widened rear wheel preferably includes three bicycle tire rims, a plurality of spokes, two tires and a lengthened rear wheel hub.

DRIVE ASSEMBLY

A drive assembly for a vehicle is disclosed. The drive assembly comprises a central hub having an axis of rotation; an in-wheel electrical machine comprising a stator and a rotor; and a rim assembly comprising an inward circumferential part and an outward circumferential part, said inward circumferential part and said outward circumferential part being disposed adjacent each other along said axis of rotation, each part comprising a rim section for carrying a respective tyre, wherein the rim assembly is coupled to the hub. The in-wheel electrical machine is arranged outwardly of, and coupled to, the hub. A vehicle comprising the drive assembly is also disclosed.

The drive assembly comprises a central hub having an axis of rotation; an in-wheel electrical machine comprising a stator and a rotor; and a rim assembly comprising an inward circumferential part and an outward circumferential part, said inward circumferential part and said outward circumferential part being disposed adjacent each other along said axis of rotation, each part comprising a rim section for carrying a respective tyre, wherein the rim assembly is coupled to the hub. The in-wheel electrical machine is arranged outwardly of, and coupled to, the hub. A vehicle comprising the drive assembly is also disclosed.

A vehicle wheel includes two annular rim members, at least one annular flange member disposed between the two rim members, a securing member that secures relative positional relationship between adjacent members among the two rim members and the at least one flange member, a plurality of body springs that each connects adjacent members among the two rim members and the at least one flange member, and a plurality of linking springs linked to the plurality of body springs so as to restrict relative displacement between the plurality of body springs. At least part of each body spring in a width direction of the vehicle wheel protrudes further to an outer side in a radial direction of the vehicle wheel than the rim members and the flange member, and the plurality of body springs is provided at intervals over an entire circumferential direction of the vehicle wheel.
