WORMSCREW FOR DISPLACEMENT OF WHEEL
A rolling device having a bearing housing accommodating a wheel axle carrying a wheel element, axle support members rotatably accommodated in the bearing housing and supporting the wheel axle, end portions of the wheel axle being connected to the axle support members in an eccentric position displaced from the rotational axis/4 line of the axle support members, a drive wheel connected to one of the axle support members for the axle support member to rotate following the rotation of the drive wheel, a first drive motor having a spindle engaged with the drive wheel to rotate the drive wheel and thereby the axle support member relative to the bearing housing, to displace the wheel element by eccentric movement between an extended position where at least a portion of the wheel element projects outside the bearing housing and a retracted position where the wheel element is located inside the bearing housing.
All-terrain load transport system
An all-terrain load transport system including a cylindrical first base member and at least three pairs of arms is provided. A handle is removably attached to an attachment member disposed on the cylindrical first base member. The cylindrical first base member defines a space for receiving at least one piece of accessory equipment. Each pair of the three pairs of arms defines a wheel support assembly at an end of each pair distal from an outer periphery of the cylindrical first base member. The three pairs of arms are detachably attached to the outer periphery of the cylindrical first base member. The wheel support assembly includes a cylindrical second base member defining a space for receiving a spherical wheel. The spherical wheel moves omnidirectionally within the defined space. Roller bearings positioned along an inner periphery of the cylindrical second base member facilitate the omnidirectional movement of the spherical wheel.
Protective covering for caster assembly
A protective covering is provided for covering an axle of a caster assembly including an exterior side that has an outer wall and an outer sidewall about a perimeter of and extending from the outer wall, and an interior side that has an inner wall recessed within the outer side and an inner sidewall extending from the inner sidewall. A main channel is defined within the recess of the interior side is configured to receive a leg of a bracket of the caster assembly and releasably retain the leg therein such that the protective covering is coupled to a side of the caster assembly. The exterior side preferably partially or entirely covers a hub of a wheel of the caster assembly and thereby reduces the likelihood of debris entering a cavity defined between the hub and the leg thereof.
MODULAR WHEEL ARRANGEMENT
The present invention provides a system for moving an object within an environment, wherein the system includes: one or more modular wheels configured to move the object, wherein the one or more modular wheels include: a body configured to be attached to the object; a wheel; a drive configured to rotate the wheel; a sensor mounted to the body; and, one or more processing devices configured to control the one or more modular wheels in accordance with signals from the sensor to thereby rotate the wheel and move the object.
Mobility device having walking wheel assembly for moving an object across non-planar areas
A mobility device for moving an object across a surface having a non-planar obstruction to allow movement of the object over the obstruction. The mobility device has a walking wheel assembly and an attachment mechanism. The walking wheel assembly has at least two wheels and an offset camshaft. The offset camshaft has a lobe associated with each wheel. The lobes are in a non-linear relationship such that one wheel is a leading wheel and one wheel is a trailing wheel. The offset camshaft allows the leading and trailing wheels to pivot upward and downward independent of each other. The attachment mechanism attaches the walking wheel assembly to the object. The mobility device can include a deflector assembly having a pair of deflector arms that are pivotally connected to a cam-axle which is attached to the offset camshaft to help guide the mobility device over non-planar areas.
Article movement systems, ball wheels and related apparatus and methods
An article movement system includes an article and at least one ball wheel. The article has first and second article surfaces meeting at a first article edge. The ball wheel is located along the first article edge and includes a ball, a bearing arrangement and a shell. The ball engages a surface underlying the article, the bearing arrangement supports the ball for omni-directional rotational movement, and the shell is located along the first article edge and contains the ball and the bearing arrangement. The shell defines a non-circular ball opening through which a portion of the ball extends to contact the underlying surface. The article, the bearing arrangement and the shell are configured such that the ball wheel is able to support the article for omni-directional rolling motion over the underlying surface with either of the first and article surfaces parallel thereto, and at any orientation therebetween.
UNIVERSAL ROTATING MODULE
A universal rotating module is provided. The universal rotating module comprises a main body including a first portion and two second portions; a main shaft passing through the through groove to pivotally connected to the main body; two bearings sleeved on and pivotally connected to the second portions along the second direction, respectively; two rollers pivotally connected to the second portions along a third direction, respectively; two hemispherical casings fixed to the two bearings, respectively. The first portion includes a through groove extending along a first direction, and the two second portions protrude from opposite sides of the first portion along a second direction, respectively. Each of the hemispherical casing includes a through hole at the top, and a portion of each of the rollers is exposed out of the corresponding through hole.
SNAKEBOARD DEVICE
A snake board apparatus includes: a front footboard part (100) on which a user puts one foot; a rear footboard part (200) on which a user puts the other foot; and a connecting part (300) connecting the front footboard part (100) and the rear footboard part (200) to each other. The connecting part (300) includes: a first finishing member (310) inserted into the housing (120) of the front footboard part (100); a first pipe (320) having one end portion connected to surround a portion of the first finishing member (310) and the other end portion provided with a concave part (322); a second pipe (330) having one end portion integrally provided with a first stopper (332), an outer circumferential surface provided with a coil spring (340), and the other end portion provided with a concave part (334), wherein a locking part (336) is formed at an end portion with a certain interval from the concave part, and second pipe 330 penetrating the first pipe 320 and inserted into the first pipe at a predetermined depth, and the second pipe (330) passes through the first pipe (320) and is inserted into the first pipe by a certain depth; a third pipe (370) having one end portion integrally provided with a third stopper (372) contacting the first finishing member (310), an outer circumferential surface provided with a coil spring (380), and an end portion provided with a locking part (374), wherein the third pipe (370) passes through the second pipe (330) and is inserted into the first pipe (320); a hollow second finishing member (392) inserted through the other end portion of the third pipe (370); a third finishing member (394) having a hollow cap shape and inserted into the second finishing member (392) at a certain depth; and an elastic member (396) having one end portion connected to the first finishing member (310) through the first pipe (320), the second pipe (330), and the third pipe (370), and the other end portion connected to the third finishing member (394) to prevent a separation thereof.
