Device and an axle for rail vehicles
A device (1) for rail vehicles. The rail vehicles device incudes a predominantly hollow axle tube (2) extending along a longitudinal direction (LR) and ending in a first wheel flange (3), and a wheel support (4) extending opposite to the longitudinal direction (LR), having a wheel bearing (5), a second wheel flange (6) and a conical mandrel (7). The second wheel flange (6), the first wheel flange (3) and a wheel (8) are arranged therebetween with a wheel hub (9) connected to each other via a flange connection. The conical mandrel (7) is inserted from the wheel holder (4) in a positive-locking manner opposite to the longitudinal direction (LR) through the wheel hub (9) of the wheel (8) into the interior of the axle tube (2) and ends at the fastening element (11), which is arranged and cast into the axle tube (2) and is connected thereto.
Electric wheelchair with quick-release drive wheels
An electric wheelchair with quick-release drive wheels includes: a chassis, and two guide wheels and two said drive wheels. The drive wheels are rotated by a drive mechanism and connected to the drive mechanism by a quick-release mechanism. To detach the drive wheel, the user can press the cover to make the rolling balls move out of the receiving groove and back to the arc-shaped engaging portion, which allows the hollow shaft to disengage from the drive shaft. Then, keeping pressing the cover can detach the drive wheel from the drive mechanism. To assemble the drive wheel, the user can press the hollow shaft into the axial hole to make the rolling balls engage in the receiving groove, so that the drive wheel is assembled to the drive mechanism. The assembly and disassembly of the drive wheel require no wrenches or other tools, and therefore are very convenient.

Wheel assembly
A wheel assembly is provided which includes a wheel, an axle, and an axle-engaging wheel hub for mounting the wheel to the axle. A wheel assembly is provided which includes a wheel, an axle, and a wheel hub which is adapted for use with a fastener for mounting the wheel to the axle. A wheel assembly is provided which includes a wheel that is adapted to receive either an axle-engaging wheel hub or a wheel hub which is adapted for use with a fastener for mounting the wheel to the axle depending upon the preference of the assembler. Wheeled containers and methods of assembly thereof are also provided for use with such wheel assemblies.

Railway axle
The railway axle according to this disclosure has a pair of fitting portions and which each include a fitting portion hardened layer and a base metal portion, and a center parallel portion which includes a center parallel portion hardened layer and the base metal portion. The base metal portion has the chemical composition described in the description. In a region having the Vickers hardness of 480 HV or more in the center parallel portion hardened layer, a dislocation density obtained based on a CoK characteristic X-ray diffraction result is 2.510.sup.16 m.sup.2 or less, a half-value width B of the (211) diffraction plane is 1.34 degrees or less, and the dislocation density and the half-value width B of the (211) plane obtained by X-ray diffraction satisfy Formula (1).
