VEHICLE WINDOW SUBASSEMBLIES FOR INITIAL BONDED AND SUBSEQUENT ROPED INSTALLATION
Aspects of the disclosure relate to vehicle window subassemblies for initial bonded and subsequent roped installation. In certain embodiments, a vehicle body of a vehicle includes a window mount with a flange having a bonding space for bonded installation of a window and a replacement space for roped installation of a replacement window. A bonded window subassembly includes a window, bonding agent, and bonded window trim configured to, upon attachment of the window to the window mount, preserve the replacement space from the bonding agent for roped installation of a replacement window. A roped window subassembly includes a replacement window and a roped window trim configured to, upon attachment of the window to the window mount, create a seal in the replacement space and not create a seal in the bonding space. Such configurations provide increased quality of an initial bonded installation and reduced cost of a roped installation.
PEEL RESISTANT VEHICLE WINDOW WEATHER STRIP
A peel resistant weather strip lining a window frame of a vehicle to create a seal between a window and the window frame. The strip may have a body having an opening and configured to receive the window. The strip may further have a first flap extending around the body and configured to engage an exterior surface of the window frame. The strip may further have a second flap extending around the body and configured to engage an interior surface of the window frame. The strip may further have a catcher extending out from the second flap. The catcher may make direct contact with the interior surface of the window frame to prevent the second flap from disengaging the interior surface of the window frame when the strip is unwantedly rotated while holding, opening, or closing a door of the vehicle.

Profile strip arrangement
A profile strip arrangement includes a profile strip having first and second connecting areas. The first connecting area has a connecting section configured to establish a connection to an inside of a windshield and the second connecting area has a U-shaped or V-shaped material section having two legs which delimit a groove-shaped receiving area configured to receive a latching section of a windshield cowl cover. As seen in a cross section of the profile strip, at least a partial layer of the connecting section, which is oriented in parallel to a top of the connecting section facing the windshield, and at least a partial layer of a bottom section of the U-shaped or V-shaped material section together form a continuous base section of the profile strip which extends in one plane and from which the legs of the U-shaped or V-shaped material section project.

VEHICLE EXTERNAL FEATURES
Electric vehicles may have alternative positions for the drivetrain components such as the electric motor such as toward the rear of the vehicle. Thus, the hood/bonnet of the vehicle may be shortened and various features of the vehicle may be adjusted. For example, the driver may be seated at a position more towards the front of the vehicle. Various features of the vehicle may be adjusted to accommodate the driver's altered positioning. For example, the electric vehicle may include forward positioned side view minors that are disposed on an angled mounting arm such that the field of view of the mirrors meets regulatory requirements for vehicles. Additional embodiments incorporate a street view window disposed at the front portion of the vehicle and designed to allow increased forward visibility for the driver.
VEHICLE WINDOW ASSEMBLY WITH BONDED PERIMETER FRAME
A vehicular window assembly includes a window panel having an inner side and an outer side separated from the inner side by a thickness of the window panel. The window panel has a perimeter edge that spans between the inner side and the outer side. A perimeter frame includes a plastic inner frame portion and a polymeric outer frame portion disposed at an outer surface of the inner frame portion. The inner frame portion has an attaching element that is adhesively bonded at the inner side of the window panel to attach the perimeter frame to the window panel. With the attaching element adhesively bonded at the inner side of the window panel, the outer frame portion receives and seals against the perimeter edge of the window panel.
Front fender cover attachment assembly for a vehicle
A front fender cover attachment assembly for a vehicle includes a windshield molding, a hook assembly, a front fender cover, and an engaging member. The windshield molding is configured to receive a windshield. The hook assembly is connected to an end of the windshield molding. The front fender cover is configured to engage the hook assembly of the windshield molding. The engaging member is connected to the front fender cover and configured to engage the hook assembly. A free end of the hook assembly extends in a vehicle inboard direction.

Window unit comprising a glazing panel and a frame
A window unit for windows in motor vehicles and the like, including a glazing panel and a frame with a profile that encompasses at least partially the peripheral sides of the glazing panel. The frame includes a primary part which is in the form of a hard component and features an exterior profile where the primary part has at least one inner profile line with at least one notch and/or one protrusion extending from the peripheral side of the glazing panel to the center of the window unit. The primary part is capable of being fixed onto another object like a car body, a decorative object, a building, a door frame, or the like.
