A door impact beam for a vehicle includes a beam main body 2 and an attaching portion 3 formed of first and second brackets 4 and 5, the first bracket 4 is coupled to the second bracket 5 by a coupling portion 20 to enable absorbing a relative movement due to difference in thermal expansion between the beam main body 2 and the components 6 of the vehicle door, a first locking hole 11 is bored in one of the first and second brackets 4 and 5 and a second locking hole 12 is bored in the other bracket, the first and second locking holes 11 and 12 are adapted to be locked by a temporarily fixing member 13 at a normal temperature and the temporarily fixing member 13 is adapted to be softened at a predetermined temperature or higher, and the second locking hole 12 includes an engaging hole 12a adapted to be engaged with the temporarily fixing member at a normal temperature and a slit 12b which is smaller in width than the maximum inner diameter of the engaging hole 12a.
CABLE REINFORCEMENT FOR VEHICLE DOORS
A vehicle includes a front door and a rear door. A first bracket is fixed to the front door, and a second bracket is fixed to the rear door. A front cable extends from the first bracket away from the second bracket along a vehicle-longitudinal axis. A rear cable extends from the second bracket away from the first bracket along the vehicle-longitudinal axis. A linear actuator is fixed to one of the first bracket or the second bracket and is extendable to the other of the first bracket or the second bracket.
ADJUSTABLY POSITIONABLE SPACER FOR VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A spacer is provided for mounting on a vehicle impact beam. The spacer includes a first surface having a first radius of curvature centered on a first axis, and a second surface opposite the first surface, the second surface having a second radius of curvature centered on a second axis extending parallel to the first axis and spaced apart from the first axis.
DOOR STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
A rear side door 20 designed to open and close an opening formed in a body 40 includes an inner panel 21 and a door beam 24. The door beam 24 is mounted on an inner panel 21 through a bracket 25 placed between the door beam 24 and the inner panel 21, and a patch member 26 is disposed on a tip part 24A of the door beam 24 at a position overlapping the tip part 24A of the door beam 24 in the vehicle widthwise direction.
VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE AND VEHICLE
A body structure including an A-pillar, a door assembly, an engine compartment assembly and an upper longitudinal beam of engine compartment, and also includes a reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam, a first anti-crash beam, and a second anti-crash beam. The front end of the reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam is connected to the middle portion of the upper longitudinal beam of engine compartment. The rear end of the reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam is connected to the engine compartment assembly. The upper longitudinal beam of engine compartment and the reinforcement plate of upper longitudinal beam form a first triangle area on the engine compartment assembly. The first anti-crash beam and the second anti-crash beam are installed on the door assembly along a direction from the front to the rear of the vehicle body. The first anti-crash beam is located above the second anti-crash beam.
Vehicle door assembly
A vehicle door assembly include an inner door panel, a first hinge and a guard beam. The inner door panel has a first edge portion and a second edge portion. The first edge portion has a first hinge attachment location and a second hinge attachment location with the first hinge location having a first opening and a second opening. The first hinge is dimensioned and configured to attach to the first hinge attachment location of the inner door panel. The guard beam has a first end and a second end. The first end has a first fastener and a second fastener rigidly and non-movably attached thereto. The first fastener is inserted through the first opening and the second fastener extends through the second opening in the first hinge attachment location, the first and second fasteners further fastening to the first hinge thereby attaching the first hinge to the door panel.
Side vehicle-body structure of vehicle
A side vehicle-body structure of a vehicle includes a rear door having a center pillar extending in a vehicle up-down direction built in a front portion of the rear door, and a front door having a door impact bar extending in a vehicle front-rear direction built in the front door. A rear end of the door impact bar is disposed to overlap with the center pillar in a vehicle side view, a reinforcement gusset that connects a lower portion of the front door and a rear portion of the door impact bar to each other is included in an inner portion of the front door, and a side sill extending in the vehicle front-rear direction is adjacently disposed below a connecting portion of a lower portion of the front door at which the lower portion of the front door is connected to the reinforcement gusset.
Door structure
A door structure includes a door panel, a first beam member, a first bracket attached to a rear end portion of the first beam member, a second beam member formed separately from the first beam member, a second bracket attached to a rear end portion of the second beam member and formed separately from the first bracket, and a coupling member, to which the first bracket and the second bracket are fixed to be arranged side by side, and which is attached to the door panel. The coupling member includes an extending portion extending in a vehicle width direction between the first bracket and the second bracket.
Impact protection reinforcement of a vehicle construction as well as connection and manufacturing methods therefor
An impact protection reinforcement of a vehicle construction, which is supportively fastenable in the vehicle construction against the action of external mechanical extraordinary load conditions and comprises the following features: an elongated profile element with a longitudinal center line and a transversal center line arranged transversely to the longitudinal center line, which has in the longitudinal direction at each end side a fastening end and a central part therebetween, wherein the central part consists of a circumferentially closed hollow profile with a base layer and a top layer arranged opposite to the base layer, which are connected to each other via lateral faces, and the fastening ends each have a flat shape with at least two fastening points which are spaced apart differently from the transversal center line and the longitudinal center line and are provided as welding connection points to the vehicle construction.
