Hydrogen filling structure
A drainage portion extending from one to the other of a bottom wall of a recess and a lid is provided at least above a hydrogen filling port in the recess when the lid is in a closed state. Therefore, water, which has entered the recess from a gap (parting) when the lid is in a closed state, reaches an upper surface of the drainage portion and flows along the upper surface of the drainage portion, and then, the water flows down from the drainage portion while avoiding the hydrogen filling port. Accordingly, it is possible to suppress the water having entered the recess while the lid is in a closed state from adhering to the hydrogen filling port.
Vehicle start-up mechanism
A vehicle start-up mechanism is provided in a vehicle configured to travel while occupants are boarded in a vehicle cabin. The vehicle start-up mechanism includes: a first vehicle start-up switch configured to switch the state of the vehicle between the start-up state and the halt state; and a switch box provided on an outer surface of the vehicle and having the first vehicle start-up switch. The vehicle has an autonomous driving function.
ACTUATION ASSEMBLY AND REFUELING PORT OR CHARGING PORT FLIP COVER ASSEMBLY
An actuation assembly for a refueling port or charging port flip cover assembly is rotatably mounted on a base and includes a locking means, a flip cover rotating shaft, a transmission gear, a drive gear and a drive member. The locking means is movably disposed on the base and configured to lock or release a flip cover. The flip cover rotating shaft is configured to rotate the flip cover and includes a fitting portion. The transmission gear includes a receiving portion and is installed around the fitting portion. The drive gear and the drive member are configured to synchronously rotate. The drive gear is meshed with the transmission gear and the drive member is configured to drive the locking means. In moving the locking means from a release position to a locking position, the drive gear blocks the rotation of the transmission gear and prevents the flip cover from opening.
FLIP COVER ACTUATION ASSEMBLY, AND REFUELING PORT OR CHARGING PORT FLIP COVER ASSEMBLY COMPRISING SAME
A flip cover actuation assembly for actuating a flip cover is movably mounted on a base. The flip cover actuation assembly has a locking means, a hinge means, a drive shaft and a drive member. The drive shaft has a fitting portion. The hinge means is installed around the fitting portion. An engagement structure is provided on a receiving portion of the hinge means. The engagement structure enables the receiving portion and the fitting portion to rotatably engage or separate such that the drive shaft moves the flip cover relative to the hinge means. The locking or releasing of the flip cover and the opening and closing of the flip cover is achieved by the drive shaft with the drive member. In addition, the releasing and the opening of the flip cover are achieved at different times to avoid any interferences.
Fuel adapter cover structure of vehicle
Provided is a fuel adapter cover structure of a vehicle which can hide a fixing portion for fixing a hinge to a body and can reduce the number of components. A fuel adapter cover structure of a vehicle includes: an oil supply port side recessed portion, a first cover portion, a second cover portion, and a hinge storage portion. The oil supply port side recessed portion has an oil supply port side flange. The hinge storage portion stores a hinge supporting a fuel lid. The first cover portion and the second cover portion are continuous to the oil supply port side flange. By the first cover portion and the second cover portion, a first rivet and a second rivet which support the hinge on a vehicle-body are covered from the outside.
Close-out assembly and a method of manufacturing the close-out assembly
A close-out assembly includes a housing and an inlet. The housing includes a wall that surrounds an opening. The wall includes an outer edge adjacent to the face plate and an inner edge. The inlet is coupled to the wall, and the inlet is accessible through the opening. The assembly includes a door coupled to the housing that is movable relative to the housing. The assembly includes a seal formed to the wall at the outer edge of the wall and the inner edge of the wall. The door engages one part of the seal when the door is in a closed position, and the inlet engages another part of the seal regardless of the position of the door. A method of manufacturing the assembly includes positioning a housing relative to a mold, and molding an elastomeric material to the housing using the mold to form a seal.
FUEL FILLER POCKET AND DOOR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle mounted fuel filler pocket and hingedly attachable door assembly, having a housing with an upper rim edge defining a pocket shaped body to which is communicated a fuel filler tube. A door overlays the upper rim edge in a closed position. A hinge bracket secures to an underside location of the door at a first end, the hinge bracket having a widthwise extending pin at a second end which is pivotally supported within circular capture recesses defined in a subset area of the pocket shaped body to permit the door to be pivoted from the upper rim edge to an open position. A detent cam mechanism is provided for biasing the door at each of the closed and open positions.
FUEL FILL ADAPTOR ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE BODY
A fuel fill adaptor assembly includes a fill housing, a cover assembly for selectively preventing access to an interior of the fill housing, and a mounting plate for mounting the fuel fill adaptor assembly to a terminal portion of a fuel tank assembly of a vehicle. The mounting plate can mounted to the fill housing in one of a variety of different mounting positions to be suitable for use with at least two different vehicles. The mounting plate can be configured to be connectable to at least two different fill necks having different mounting configurations.
LID DEVICE
A lid device to be mounted on an oil filler port or an power supply port of a vehicle and for opening and closing the oil filler port or the power supply port includes a housing configured to be assembled to the oil filler port or the power supply port, a support body provided to be rotatable with respect to the housing, and a lid body attached to the support body. Reinforcing rib protruding toward a lid body side is formed on the support body. A portion of the reinforcing rib along a horizontal direction is inclined such that free end side faces downward when the lid device is mounted on the oil filler port.
Deformable bracket for translating vehicle fuel box
A system for reducing risk of fuel leakage of a vehicle during a collision includes a vehicle main body configured to support and at least partially enclose a passenger. The system further includes a fuel inlet box configured to house a fuel inlet. The system further includes a rear bracket coupled to the vehicle main body at a location aft of the fuel inlet box. The system further includes a center shaft coupled to the rear bracket and extending forward from the rear bracket. The system further includes a forward bracket coupled to the vehicle main body at a location forward relative to the rear bracket and coupled to the center shaft, the forward bracket configured to deform in response to a rear collision of the vehicle to actuate the fuel inlet box in order to reduce the likelihood of a fuel leak from the fuel inlet.
